Designed by famous Italian architect Aldo Rossi, Mojiko Hotel towers over the Kanmon Strait waters. It offers cosy rooms with sea views, free WiFi and local Kyushu dishes at the on-site restaurant. Guests can purchase souvenirs at Mojiko Retro Kaikyo Plaza, located just 2-minutes' away on foot. Celebrating their 20th anniversary on February 2018, the hotel will feature 28 newly-created rooms. Rooms in Hotel Mojiko are air-conditioned and heated, and they come furnished with an LCD TV with satellite channels and a minibar. The bathrooms have a shower, bath and toiletries. The hotel provides luggage storage, and it has drinks vending machines. Authentic Italian dishes prepared with fresh vegetables and seafood straight out of the sea are served at Italian Portone, while Wagyu beef steak from Kyushu can be savoured at Red Black Steakhouse. Mojiko Hotel is located in the heart of the Moji-ko Retro District, a 2-minute walk from Mojiko Station. Kyushu Railway History Museum is located a 5-minute walk away while Idemitsu Museum of Arts can be reached with a 10-minute walk.

“Great Stay at Premier Hotel Mojiko – Scenic Views & Yaki Curry, Parking Experience could be Better”
My stay at Premier Hotel Mojiko was delightful overall. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right by the harbour and port area, offering scenic views that make mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-kept, with large windows that framed the waterfront beautifully. Breakfast was another highlight — a generous and varied spread that catered to different tastes, from Japanese specialties to Western options. The standout was the famous yaki curry, a Mojiko specialty, which was especially delicious and made the breakfast experience feel unique to the region. The staff throughout the hotel were polite and tried their best to be of assistance, which added a welcoming touch to the experience. Overall, Premier Hotel Mojiko is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting the area, thanks to its prime location, comfortable rooms, and outstanding breakfast.

altogether very nice place, and even though I had many small things I asked (bday cake for my father), they helped with everything. And Super View! Italian course was splendid! Parking was also in the shades in the morning.

1920s Berlin style retro chic. Probably the best buffet breakfast I've had in Japan (I've had many). Convenient for ferry to Shimonoseki and JR to Kokura.

It is stated in a beautiful town of Mojiko. It is very close to Mojiko station , very convenient. Staff are very friendly. Chosen a room with an ocean view and I really love it.

The location is super good, very close to the train station. The the famous curry restaurants are nearby as well. The site seeing spots of the retro area is also within walking distance. The scenery of the sea is spectacular. They also serve free morning welcome coffee at the lobby in the morning.

One of the most charming stays on the trip Prime location right in front of Moji Port, surrounded by beautiful retro buildings Nostalgic atmosphere that perfectly matches the neighbourhood Only about a 5-minute walk from Mojiko Station Enjoyed watching port activity and the tourist water bus from the window Retro-style room that fits the area’s character Very comfortable king bed Practical and relaxing room layout with desk, sofa chairs, and extra seating Bathroom felt like a 5-star hotel, with a proper bathtub All amenities provided, very convenient Plenty of cafés, restaurants, and museums nearby

“Comfortable and pleasant stay.”
Location is great! Just a short walk from Mojiko station to hotel. Kudos to the cleaning staff for making the room and bathroom super clean. However maintenance of dusty air vent in bathroom should be attended by the maintenance people. Staffs manning the reception are all English speaking and are most friendly and helpful.

Beautiful room, clean. Love the retro feel. Great view of the Kanmon straits. Location wise great, near Mojiko eki and ferry to karato. Coffee maker in our room, with tea and vegetable drink. On site parking available at a fee. Staffs are great, communicate well in English too. I will definitely return
