Overview
Japanese and Western restaurants, massages and free in-room wired internet can be found at Station Hotel Kokura, just 50 metres from JR Kokura Shinkansen Station. Rooms have an en suite bathroom and green tea. Rooms at Kokura Station Hotel come with a small wood desk, a mini-fridge and a TV. Kokura Castle is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, as is the Japanese garden surrounding it. Just above JR KOKURA station. Very convenient location. There are free lockers available at the reception lobby, which you can use before check-in, or after check-out.

“Cheap and convenient”
TV couldn't be set up in English. No English news channel. Went to book massage, told they dont speak English so wasnt able to book.

Comfortable room with a nice view of the monorail. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable as one can directly access from the station. lots of shopping and great food within walking distance. The airport bus was right outside so it was was super convenient for our morning flight.

“Very good access”
Located in the Kokura staion building. Very convenient approach from trains including Shin-kan-sen. Also good access to shopping arcade area in the town center area. In the Kokura station buliding, there are lot of shops and restaurants.

“A wonderful place where we will visit again”
The location was amazing. Our room was the most comfortable. We had a great view out the large picture window of the street, the monorail, people coming and going. We could sit in chairs which we did at night. There was no noise from the street. The staff went above and beyond. There was everything at the station one could hope for with shops and restaurants in the streets and Kokura Castle and grounds was in walking distance after taking a 1 minute monorail ride. Nozomi which we used is just on the doorstep, as was local trains. We went to the waterfront and caught a boat over to Honshu and visited there. Everything was perfect as was meeting up with a beautiful friend.

2nd time staying here. The hotel is located above Kokura Station so it offers you convenience when traveling by train. Room design is quite outdated but very clean.

“A really great stay for our first introduction to Japan.”
The location is perfect especially if you’re travelling around by train. It’s also close to the main shopping area and close to great 🐄 restaurants. Kokura castle is just a short walk away. The room was small but very comfortable and very clean. We asked for more pillows and were delivered to our room immediately! We had a great view overlooking the monorail.
