The hotel staff are exceptionally courteous—every time the elevator doors open at the second-floor lobby, they greet guests inside with warm smiles and a respectful bow. The guestroom features a massage chair, which is a wonderfully thoughtful touch for travelers seeking relaxation after a long day. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable, though it would benefit from a few hooks for hanging clothes.

“Very clean hotel near Kokura Station”
The check-in was easy and the staff very friendly. The room was very clean. There was a general cleaning after 3 days. Towels could be exchanged daily and also the rubbish was removed. The hotel is located close to Kokura station, Kokura Castle and the Tanga Market. Also, department stores and other shops were very close. From our hotel room, we had a good view and could watch the Metro beneath us.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Triple room was relatively spacious despite being converted from a twin room. Great bathroom in particular. Location was a straightforward walk from the station, close to lots of good food. This was my first time staying in a Daiwa Roynet hotel; now I'll look out for them in other cities too!

“Small gem in the center of Kitakyushu!”
Actually I like everything! It is absolutely clean hotel, very quite (in spite of window facing the main street), next to the streets with restaurants and bars. Just short walk from the station. Necessary amenities included!

We booked Daiwa Roynet because we like their hotels. This one is just as good as what we have experienced in other cities. Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff. We were initially put in a room right below the smoking floor. The cigarette smell was too strong. They immediately arranged for a lower floor room away from the smoke. Love that their bathrooms are big by Japanese standards. Rain shower is excellent. Coin operated washing machine and dryer is a plus.

location is close to the train station. Travelling With luggage, the escalator at the walkway, makes access to and from the station easier.

“Great hotel in excellent location”
I loved everything about this hotel. Big room and bathroom, massage chair was a bonus. Breakfast was good value and a good selection of western style food. Dinner at Salvatores on the ground floor was very good. Behind the hotel there are many good restaurants. Try Sukesan udon restaurant for a very unique experience and good food. Hotel can arrange for your big luggage to be sent on to the next hotel for a very reasonable price. So good not to lug suitcase on the train etc. All sorts of shops at the station and around the hotel

“Great location and good breakfast”
The location is perfect. Very close to the main station and close to parks and shopping centers, as well as restaurants and bars. The breakfast is good, it offers a lot of traditional options and food is fresh.
