Great buffet breakfast, big, clean rooms. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Onsite coin laundry. We stayed here on a ski trip and drove to Geto Kogen (about 35 min away) and Shizukuishi (about 1hr away). Really pretty location in winter.

“New name, new hotel”
When I booked the hotel it was under a different name, however when we arrived to check in to reception on the 1st August, we were told that it was the first day of its new name, Holiday Inn. Staying at the hotel was very enjoyable. It was a brand new refurbished room, with new appliances and furniture. The only thing they didn't really seem to update was the bathroom. It was a 6 min walk to the main JR station and there were great amenities. Black out curtains were amazing and it was cool seeing the shinkansens zoom past from the window. Overall, if we were in kitakami again we would not hesitate to stay here again.

“It’s ok to overnight if the price is law.”
It was almost the only option in Kitakami for a room for us during the cherry blossom season. The location was at the river, quite ok, but you need to walk far to the bridge to start a walk in the park on the other side. It took us approximately 12000 steps :-). The staff is friendly and helpful and google is doing translations. Our room although aged was very clean.

Although it is not new hotel, it is kept clean and comfortable. Good to have free parking that is covered.

“OK for a One night stay”
Breakfast was ok and the location is very close to Kitakami station. You have a good view on the river, if your room is located on the right side. Spa area is available in the ground floor.
