Set in Kisoro, 47 km from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Gorilla Leisure Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Fantastic lodge in a stunning location. Winston and Joseph went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Lots of little luxuries like hot water bottles at night and boot cleaning after trekking. The perfect jumping off point for gorilla trekking only 10mins from Rushaga gate. The food was excellent too prepared by their chef

Very attentative staff that makes you feel at home. Good quality food with daily changing menu options. Amazingly large room with the most comfortable bed ever! Huge bathroom including bathtub which was great after a long day hiking.

“Lovely oasis in Bwindi for gorilla trekking!”
I rarely give such a high evaluation but this lodge and the staff absolutely deserve it! - complete organization of permits and transport - very delicious breakfast and dinner - awesome service from super friendly staff, they even cleaned our shoes after the trekking and were attentive all the time - very clean and well equipped rooms - there is everything you need I highly recommend this lodge to everybody who search comfort after returning from the gorilla trekking in Bwindi. This place is magic !

Perfectly situated within walking distance from the starting point for gorilla trekking in Bwindi's southern sector of rushaga. The scenic views from our balcony was magical, loved it. Small touches, like fresh flowers in the room, made our stay extra special. In brief, gorilla leisure lodge demonstrated meticulous attention to detail throughout.

The team is incredibly helpful and thoughtful, the views are insane, the ambience serene and tranquil, the rooms are sparklingly clean and constantly refreshed. What a service! I highly recommend it to anyone gorilla trekking in Bwindi.

“Best place to stay for gorillas”
Staff were awesome...such a welcoming and service oriented group. Particular mentions to Tony who was always ready to help and share a joke and to Lazarus the manager who was so welcoming and informative. The rooms were luxurious...huge bathroom with bath, huge balcony with beautiful views, big and comfortable bed. We had full board option and the food was excellent and plentiful. Attention to detail...drink on arrival, ensure we had everything ready for gorillas trek, turn down beds with hot water bottles, fruit in room, clean shoes after the trek.. etc Location was only 10 minutes away from start of gorilla trek so extra sleep in

“Wonderful food and service while we did gorilla trekking at Bwindi!”
The service of the staff was amazing, they were ready for everything we could need, even cleaning our shoes after the gorilla trekking! The food was also outstanding. The start of the trekking is also only 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk.
