The lodge is situated right next to the rainforest. Views are stunning. Food was extremely good and rooms very comfy. Staff was so incredibly helpful to help us with our luggages that we had to carry for 1km because our car got stucked!

“An AMAZING place in the middle of the jungle!”

The rooms are spacious and very large, and the cleanliness is impeccable. We had some clothes washed, and they were returned very quickly as well. The place is truly impressive, and for the price we paid, it’s unbelievable — excellent value for money. I would especially like to thank the kitchen staff, who were flawless every single day, accommodating many of our requests (even when they weren’t on the menu), and Charlotte, who helped us so much during our stay. She is amazing! We were traveling with a 1-year-10-month-old baby, and of course, we didn’t take her on the hikes. But during the three days we stayed, Charlotte gradually built trust with the little one (who unfortunately doesn’t like women, haha). By the end, they were getting along wonderfully, which was such a relief for us and the child’s parents — it really took a huge weight off our shoulders. I recommend bringing cash and leaving at least a small tip for each of the staff members there — they truly deserve it (there were 11 of them during our stay).

The views from the deck, the attentive staff - even providing hot water bottles each night when it got cold. Food was delicious. Was truly a home in the Jungle!

Great place! We stayed there for two nights and it was amazing. The lodge is beautiful and the staff is superfriendly. They even preheated our beds with hot water bottles. Really nice lodge and very close to Rushaga entrance, we would stay there anytime again.

A great place to base yourself for Bwindi gorilla tracking (southern side). Great rooms, friendly helpful staff, good food. Awesome birding just from the balcony of the room!

The view of the jungle with the mountain gorillas from our balcony was incredibly beautiful. The food was really great and the breakfast was the best we had in Uganda. The service was amazing: when we came back from gorilla tracking, it was pouring with rain and they were waiting for us with umbrellas, in the evening they made a fire and hot water bottles for us and so much more. We were looked after very lovingly. Make sure you have a 4x4. The road is very bumpy.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The driver accommodation was free, only the food was paid. The community walk visiting the school, and Pigmeus village, and some path at the border of Impenetrable forest, was very good.

The staff was great. The manager and Kefa were always available to respond to our requests. The view of the lodge is just amazing. We were welcomed with tea and muffins, and chairs to appreciate the sunset. Kefa kindly helped us to find our way to our Gorilla Trekking guide at 5:30 am, he was really helpfull. You must pay cash, so you must go to an ATM before.

“beautiful located lodge for nature lovers”

This lodge is situated absolutely beautiful at the border of the rainforest. You can observe a lot of birds and other animals directly from the patio of the quiet located and separated appartements in the forest. The lovely staff was very friendly and courteous. Best banana pancakes for breakfast we've ever eaten. We stayed 3 nights and it was one of the best accomodations we had on our roadtrip in Uganda. For nature lovers it is the best choice in the Rushaga sector. Just 15 minutes drive to the UWA-gate for the gorilla trekking.

Very good place to prepare the Gorilla tracking in Rushaga ( less than 15min by car from the visitor center). The lodge is very beautiful, and the staff is very friendly.

“The definition of chilling inside the forest…”

This lodge is incredibly well located, inside the forest with an amazing view! The staff warmly welcomed us, and helped us through the stay and even on our way out! Food was really good, you should try the fish
