Such a great homestay! I found the price for the value we got perfect. I think for kisoro that homestay is just about perfect! Hot water, clean, private car park, good breakfast, internet.

The most wonderful stay of my long trip through Africa. The family who runs the homestay is exceptionally kind and immediately felt at home. The room was spotlessly clean, the terrace is beautiful, and the breakfast was plenty and delicious. I highly recommend the Agape Guesthouse and would have loved to stay longer! It's the perfect place if you're planning tours in the area. Andrew, the son can help you with that. He even organized the gorilla trek for me and all went smoothly.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, thanks a lot to Andrew and his parents - one of the nicest stays we had in five weeks in Uganda. Good breakfast, nice and calm rooms and even a transfer to the Rwanda border for a better fare then a special hire. Next time we will stay longer for sure!

Agape was a wonderful find. Run by the loveliest family you're ever likely to meet, they ensured our visit was special. Highlight: Welcomed with fresh juice, offered afternoon tea - a delicious, varied and massive breakfast, all at a superb price. Rooms were exceptionally clean, the showers warm, the WiFi good and the veranda was a lovely spot to relax. We came as customers but were immediately welcomed as friends (and almost felt like family).

Everything was amazing! I can’t wait to go back to Kisoro. The whole family was amazing and treated me like I was one of them. On my last day, Andrew offered me a zip line at lake Mutanda and dropped me to the border. They are the kindest most thoughtful hosts I’ve come across. Wishing every host learns from them! Baby Also, David was the cutest little boy!

“Perfect stay”

We stayed only for one night but it was such a good stay! We were warmly received, had the best shower in Uganda, slept like a baby, and had a plentiful breakfast. Esther and Gideon are caring hosts. Their son Andrew also provided helpful information and a nice chat. The room is secure, private, immaculately clean and comfortable. There is space to park the car on the premises and walk to town for dinner. We can highly.recommend Agape.

“Neat, tidy and welcoming”

This was my second stay and Gideon and Esther were as warm and welcoming as ever. The rooms are small but neat, tidy and clean and include an ample breakfast. They will also cook other meals if needed. It’s a convenient location, walking distance from the town centre. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel like you’re part of the family.

Amazing family run guest house. Ester, Gideon and Andrew are so welcoming and really try to make it feel like home. Nice breakfasts whenever you need them and other touches to help me out. Andrew had all the info on how to enjoy Kisoro and the surroundings. Hope to come again!

The room was clean and had everything it needed. The hosts were the most caring, flexible and helpful. They checked in on us to ensure we felt safe and allowed to make some last-minute changes to our bookings. More importantly Andrew, thier son was available for information at any time of the day, like a personal Google.

Highly recommend staying at Agape House if you are traveling to Kisoro. Esther, Gideon, Andrew and the rest of the family make you feel at home as soon as you arrive to the property. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very delicious. I had the pleasure of staying there for 5 nights and I would’ve loved to stay longer if I had the time. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood a 5-minute walk from the main street in Kisoro.

“Great owner & personnel”

The accomodation there was ok, everything as described and expected. The big win, was the personnel and the owner. They helped us , making calls, to help us find out lost luggages at the airport. Then after one of us was sick, the owner who was very kind and helpful offered to help us and really did a great job. Even after we left the accomodation a few days later, he helped us with another problem that we found during our trip, which is so important when you are in a foreign country. Highly recommended !

“Home away from Home”

Owners are very welcoming, you instantly feel welcomed and part of the family. We did the ziplining with Andrew and had so much fun. Breakfast was plentiful and so delicious. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Really nice location only 10 min walk into the main town. We loved our stay and even extended an extra 2 nights, really recommend to stay here when you are in Kisoro!
