“A must stay in Kakheti.”

I merely wrote comments on bookings or other travel agents but Marani ELizbar was an exception. It was absolutely the HIGHLIGHT of my vacation in Georgia! It’s got everything we’d expect for a “local” experience while super cozy and pleasant. I only stayed here for one night as my flight going back home was the next day, otherwise I really would like to stay for more nights there. A huge thank you to Leon (the host) and the neighbor there! I was walking around the Marani the morning I woke up and happened to see neighbor are killing a pig for barbecue as it was new year time. Leon and the neighbor invited me to the barbecue and shared with me the amber wine their family made. While they drank, they toasted to the land Georgia, to mothers and to families. It was a moving scene for me.. Also they were super friendly to us.. Besides the memorable morning, the Marani itself was incredibly well-decorated with exquisite taste as can tell from the pictures but I’m sure you have to experience it in person. Cleanliness 10/10. Breakfast was great. We drove so location was not really important to us but several famous winery are just around. Convenient enough for anyone looking for a winery tour. I would definitely come back here when I visited Georgia again.

“Tasteful design and friendly hosts”

Hidden gem! Located in a lovely village near Telavi, very quite and calm place. But it’s not a typical boutique hotel, this place is filled with traditions whether it’s cooking or their own winery. Highly recommend

“Luxurious experience”

Immaculately done place with tasteful pieces of art. The facilities & ambience are so worth it. Food prepared fresh and served in the living room! Levan is one man army & boy he does it so well. The view from the terrace is mesmerising. It’s a luxury stay without breaking the bank.

We were amazed by the story of this family business, the hotel itself was made with love for details. Thanks to our manager Lewan and his sweet puppy Yuda for hospitality, wine testing and cozy evenings near the fireplace. It's also worth mentioning that our room Kisi was also very comfortable, good wifi, comfortable bed and pillows, very clean bathroom, good water pressure, hairdryer and cozy bathrobes.

“True boutique hotel”

A hotel with only six rooms spread around a neat garden. Manager Lewan took very good care of us lighting the fire in the evenings and showing us around the wine cellar during the day. Breakfast and dinner were both of standard good Georgian quality, perhaps not exceptional. The village is quiet and small enough to walk around, if you have a car the place works well for exploring the surrounding region too.

Everything was great!

Very nice hotel / villa, very comfortable and beautiful interiors and design. We had a family stay and was great to have rooms next to each other and have a shared living room with fireplace and big table. Leo was a great host and gave useful advices what to do around. And also highly recommended the wine from the winery produced in the hotel

“Great place to relax”

Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful interiors. we were supposed to stay only one day, but the great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made us extend our stay. delicious food and wine and great manager Lewan who made our stay special. Lewan is the heart and soul of this place, he takes great care of guests. we are very grateful to him for everything. we will definitely come back!

The settings are ideal to rest and terrace, the pool, the garden are very peaceful. The room was large and very comfortable The Saperavi was absolutely delicious - we should have bought more to bring back levan was really nice and spent the time to chat with us as well which was really cool

The entire experience was a dream! We only have good things to say about our stay at Elizbar1918. Everyone was amazing and made our stay unforgettable. Special shout out to Lewan, who went the many extra miles!

Very lovely place, beutiful, wide, clean house with cousy, hommy atmosphere. There is splendid views at the second floor. Landlords are very generouse and freinfdly! The best place i've ever been!

Everything. The rooms were comfortable. The attention to detail on the property. The hospitality of the hosts. The wine. The pool. Perfect location for a few days in Kahketi. The hosts were exceptional and helped us with booking a driver to explore the area, and gave us a full tour of their wine making operation. This place is seriously good.

The whole property was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool a lot. Food was delicious and the breakfasts were really big. Hospitality was top-notch, the staff was really helpful and attentive. We did not have a car which made it hard for us to make a trip to one of the wineries in the region by ourselves. One of the guys working there offered to drive us there and pick us up later, completely free of charge. In particular, huge thanks to Lewan who made the stay exceptional for us :) Anytime we needed anything, he was there to help us within minutes.
