The location is great! Nice to be near a river. There is a great seating area outside. Very comfortable inside the room it doesn't feel crowded. Using the toilet and shower is very convenient.

“Not happy with customer service”

The sheets were undone when we arrived. There was hair on the sheets aswell. And on the kitchen counter there was a dirty towel. We found 3 alive bugs and we tried messaging the host and calling, without a reply (still after two days). We waited for 1.5h at the location, left and ended up taking a hotel. All this is would have been fine, people make mistakes and might have forgotten to clean the room, if the host would have awnsered.

“Wonderful cozy place to enjoy the northern lights”

It is a fantastic cozy spot to enjoy the northern lights or an escape from the city, we stayed in hut 1, it was warm inside since we entered, the small kitchen is enough and it is well equipped with oil, salt, pepper, even soy sauce! The staff was super friendly. The shower room was clean and warm as well. You also get access to the sauna that you need to book in advance while you are there.

We loved the cozy hut and the location on the bank of the river. The view was lovely. The place feels remote yet is only 15 to 20 minutes from town. We were lucky to see the Northern lights from our beds. We enjoyed the sauna too. The beds were comfortable and the covers were warm. There was very basic cooking equipment but no forks. The shared bathroom/wc was warm and the water was hot. The whole thing felt rustic and adventurous while being relatively comfortable. Despite the negatives (see below) I would recommend it as a one-time experience.

The place is very beautiful, and the hut is adorable. Elin was incredibly supportive; she explained how to watch the northern lights and how to walk on the snow. We were so lucky to have the chance to see the aurora light at this place. We could even see the aurora lights from inside the hut.

“Best stay in Kiruna. Great experience !”

Location is top! There are 3 cabins, we had the one directly to the lake. Cosy atmosphere, we enjoyed a lot ! Barbecue, camp fire, sauna, northern lights on the lake and with nature around, calm, complete autonomy. Was clean. Comfortable beds with direct view to lake and sky !

“Perfect!”

We absolutely love the place! We are a group of 6, so we booked all 3 tents and so we were lucky enough to have the whole campsite to ourselves. The tents are all very nice; simple but delicate at the same time. It’s small but everything we needed was available, incl. salt and olive oil for cooking! We stayed in the beginning of April, missed the northern light just by hours as the night after we checked out had one of the highest index (we also saw on the aurora live webcam site that it was super vibrant); so that was a bit unfortunate. Nevertheless the stay was amazing enough! I would totally recommend this place and if I were to visit Kiruna again in the winter I would definitely come back!

“Beautiful place, beautiful experience”

Absolutely magical experience here. So romantic and cozy, exactly what we were hoping for. The huts are meticulous and everything has been thought about carefully for a great experience. We really enjoyed the DIY edge to things (shared bathroom, get your own water, make your own fire for the sauna) which added to the sense of adventure.

“A magical experience in a remote and beautiful area, the cabin was well looked after and the sauna made the experience”

The property was clean spacious and had all the bits you could need. The bed was super comfy and it was very peaceful. There was good WiFi and the kitchenette had everything you could need for a short stay. Firewood was provided for the fireplace which made it very cosy.

Very cosy hut with great location and view.

Lovely hats with an amazing view. Was easy to reach even though I had no car (Bus to Jukkasjärvi and then walk over the frozen lake). Host was super nice and helpful and messaged me when the northern lights were visible.

Breakfast was not provided. The location of the huts was beautiful. Loved that we could observe the sky from the warmth of our cabin.

excellent location, remote yet good accessible. fire place, tiny kitchen, sauna, we have enjoyed every moment of the stay.

We definitely recommend this place for the best Lapland experience. The activities were very well organized. We could see the Northern lights twice from our hut and everything was very clean. Sitting around the campfire next to our hut watching the Northern lights is an experience we will never forget. Thanks Elin and Joel!!
