Easy to see northern light. Kitchen and stuff. Stunning view

The location of the cabins is great to catch the northern lights: quiet, with little artificial light and easy to get to by car. Alexandre, the cabin manager, passed by on our first night to check if everything was alright and kindly let us know the northern lights were visible, so we ran outside to enjoy the view. The lake right outside the cabins offers spectacular views in the morning. The cabin has everything you need to feel at home and enjoy a few days of peace and comfort. Temperature was -35 celsius when we stayed and the heating worked well. All beds are individual bunk beds, but surprisingly comfy.

Fantastic place! Everything was great. You can see the Northern Lights right from the backyard while enjoying some snacks and drinks. Alexander is an excellent host and made things easier for us.

Great cabin at the lake with very nice view and surroundings. Ideal for Aurora hunting! Unfortunately it was pretty cloudy so haven’t seen much Aurora but still a very nice place to stay.

The location is nice. The cabin itself is basic but clean, okay for two ppl. For that price i'd expect something nicer but overall is a cute cabin.

“Northen lights from your bedroom window!!”

I brought my parents to see snow and the north of Sweden for the first time and the cabin location and tidyness were superb. It was a great experience for them and I couldn't be happier.

We were the only ones at the facility making it lovely and quiet. We encountered a staff member a few times who was always friendly and asking how things were. The cabin was warm, external toilet/shower block was a short walk and warm inside too. There is a shared hut with fire pit and sauna in that was free to use. Kitchen area had basics needed to make dinners. Stunning location on the lake, 10 minutes drive to Kiruna

The location is amazing!!! And the hosts very pleasant and helpful with everything we asked.

“An excellent place to stay if you want to see the Northern Lights.”

The cabin is only 10-15 minutes drive from Kiruna Airport and Town. The Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi is also only about 10 minutes drive from the cabin. The cabin is beautifully situated by a lake (Alttajärvi) which during our visit was frozen and we could walk safely out onto the lake. This gave us an advantageous view of the Northern Lights. Truly fantastic! Out host was also very helpful and friendly.

The room was good size to stay with family members. We could see beautiful lake from dining room and sauna. We enjoyed relaxed time in the facility.

The view is amazing, it is directly on the lake. Transparent cabins on the lake, would be great for aurora watching in winter. The rooms were big.
