Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. It offers free WiFi, in-room flat-screen TVs and traditional, seasonal Swedish and Sami food. Parking is free on site. Spread across 3 buildings, Ripan's cosy, chalet-style rooms have private entrances and bathrooms with showers. Many offer kitchenettes and convenient private ski storage. Restaurant Ripan features local Nordic ingredients including reindeer and fish. The Aurora Spa can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include horse riding, guided city tours and hiking.

The personnel is very helpful and friendly. The food is delicious, I really loved the breakfast selection. The location is beautiful, with a a perfect spot to watch northen lights. Though, unfortunately, during our stay it was too cloudy to see anything. The only downside is the transportation, but if you rent a car it's just fine. And the reception can help you book a taxi.

“Wonderful”
The location is not so far from airport. Takes only 15 minutes by taxi. I had problem with my flight on the Day I come. Was trying to reached out to the facility and they came out with really good solution. Shout out to Mila from the front desk that helped with all the process and prepared my breakfast bag. All the staff also very friendly and super helpful.

The cabins are comfortable and you get to experience the real snow adventure, leaving you cabin to go to Reception, Restaurant/bar. Also good to have the option to cook for yourself in some cabins. All staff, especially Restaurant staff were very helpful, professional and knowledgeable, especially Lucia.
