Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went on snowmobiling experience. Great activity. The guide was very friendly and patient. Dog sledding also very enjoyable with very knowledgeable guide. Great location close to town, airport and icehotel. Would recommend.

“Lovely place with great people!”
LOVED our time here. Everyone was super friendly and our little cabin was super cosy. Shared kitchen and bathrooms super clean and kept on top of. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again.

“Auroras and beautiful cabins by the lake”
Camp Alta was a dream come true. The cabins were cozy and clean, staff was super friendly, and the aurora tour was unforgettable. Easily the best moment of our lives.

Camp Alta is truly the best place to stay in Kiruna. The location is stunning, right in front of a frozen lake, and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The house was perfect for four guests, very comfortable and well maintained. The shared kitchen was excellent and well organised, and the shared shower, conveniently located next to the kitchen, was very comfortable, especially in winter. Anita, our driver, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We absolutely loved her. She felt like a personal guide, sharing many interesting stories and the history of Kiruna with us, which made our stay even more meaningful. We are truly grateful to have met her. We booked the snowmobile and dog sled activities through Camp Alta, and everything was very well arranged and professionally handled. Staying here was the best decision of our trip. We only wish we had stayed at least 3 days and 2 nights instead of just one night

“Lovely cottages”
We went in winter. It was beautiful. Away from Kiruna town, but not too far. Accommodations were good, not luxurious, but very good for the type of cottages and had all we needed. Plenty of parking available. And the receptionist was super helpful. Highly recommended.

“A beautiful place in nature, with great facilities, friendly staff and sauna's to warm up!”
We really loved our stay at camp Alta. All the staff were friendly and helpfull. We had the little round houses and it was very cosy and all the facilities we needed. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. The location is beautiful, the saunas were a very big plus! We will come back here.

“I want to come back soon!”
This place was amazing! it is very central to the different touristic attractions and it has perfect facilities to see the northern lights. The personel is friendly and kind. The cabaign in which I staid was cozy and warm. The sauna (both the private and communal) are a great relaxing experience. They also offer good tours at much better price than in Getyourguide, including huskee tours, snowbike, northernlights hunting, going to Abisko. Please take me back to wonderful Kiruna!
