“A perfect retreat”

Superb setting, lake and cabin are both stunning with lots of walks nearby. Feels remote and yet the town with shops is only 12 minutes away. Perfect! Boat and SUP are there ready to go if needed. BBQ ready to go. Hosts are super responsive via messenging if you need anything. Thank you for providing and setting up a travel cot for us, and we had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen.

We loved the quiet location surrounded by nature despite it being so close to Helsinki which made it an ideal location for a long weekend. We really enjoyed dipping in the lake with the ice and then warming up in the saunas. There was a mix-up on our side about which cabins our group were staying in - our hosts were extremely understanding of the situation despite the extra cleaning they had to do as a result of us having to move for incoming guests.

Great Location. Beautiful nature close to Helsinki, Espoo as well as Nuuksio. There is everything you need and comfortable beds for 6 people. Great sauna that comfortably fits 3 at a time and a lake around the corner to cool off even in winter.

This was our second visit to this beautifil property, We had the most amazing time at Katve Nature Retreat in Kirkkonummi! The peaceful lakeside and surrounding forest covered with snow made it feel like we've stepped into a little slice of paradise. The cabin was super cozy and clean. We have also enjoyed the sauna after a long day out exploring the beautiful area. The host Auli were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving great tips about the area and making everything easy and smooth.

Absolutely magical, a wonderful retreat in nature. Sweet cabins and lovely to swim in the lake / take the boat out. Big fan of the sauna!

Wonderful peaceful location . Accommodation well set out , airy space with every amenity needed. Nice for both groups to have own accommodation but still adjoining each other .

A beautiful, well equipped mökki in an ideal location, not far from Helsinki. Peaceful surroundings and a beautiful lake. We enjoyed trips to the coast and inland to lake Meiko during our stay.

This was our third visit to Katve and as usual it did not disappoint. Everything was PERFECT :) The cabin is so cosy especially with the log burner . We loved having access to our own sauna and being able to cool off in the beautiful lake which is just a few steps away. Auli is the perfect host and we look forward to returning to one of our favourite holiday spots.

Lovely quiet place for a break from the city. It was easy to get there, all interactions with the hosts were easy, got briefed on all the features and amenities before arriving. The sauna, fireplace, grill were all excellent. The house was warm, we liked the interior, the bed was comfortable. All in all, a great place to stay!

The communication from the hosts was excellent from the time we booked, they were very responsive and helpful, giving us comprehensive information about the property and ideas for things to do in the area. Every communication was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the sauna. The location was beautiful; so quiet and peaceful, and very scenic. We really managed to recover and recharge. The lake was wonderful and we really appreciated the effort made to keep a hole open in the ice for winter swimming - thank you. The location and especially the lake is gorgeous! I also really liked the water sport equipment (SUP and rowing boat) that were free to use. Also I saw deer from the kitchen window, how awesome is that?!
