“Forever in our hearts”

Eaglerock guest house will forever be in our hearts. We visited for two nights on our on the road trip as a group of 10. The house has been recently renovated and everything was perfect and neatly cleaned. We loved the interior design, the living room with huge windows, the back patio. We saw our first Aurora here. It was magical. Bjorn was a super responsive host and helped us with his suggestions on how to hunt for norther lights. Thank you again!

“Great location and beautiful apartment”

The location is amazing in the middle of nature and no noise from roads or anything. The apartment is very cosy and spacious. Big kitchen and comfortable beds. The bathroom was very clean.

Superb house with plenty of space and comfort, large fully equipped kitchen, all facilities for an excellent stay. The environment is so peaceful. The house is actually better than it looks on the pictures.

Calm place since is very offroad and far away from the main services. Quality-price relation good for the general Iceland properties. Guest was nice and was waiting for us to give us information and the keys. House was big enough for our group of 9

“If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place!”

The location was exactly what we wanted. It was quiet, private, and the first night we stepped out the front door and watched the Northern Lights which was awesome! It also put us half way between 2 locations we wanted to see so everything was perfect. We were a 3 generation family of 5 guests and it felt like a second home. The owners were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I strongly recommend Eaglerock Guesthouse.

Super house with full comfort. Hosts very sympathetic. They kept us informed when northern lights show started. Great place.

Beautiful place set up in the middle of a lava field, and the surroundings are amazing. Fully equipped kitchen.

“most beautiful location we stayed. just wish we had another week”

this was the highlight of our trip, it was in a rural location, but less than twenty minutes to the secret lagoon. and gesir and waterfalls all located within 1 hour. 1 hour to lava tunnels. the accommodation was beautiful and we was a family of all age ranges. 8yrs, 37 yrs , 46 yrs, 76, 80yrs. all people had things to do and wished they could have stayed longer. the grandparents felt safe and never slipped around the property. our 8 year old found outside amazing, with rivers, heated streams, hot tub, football, and northern lights here are spectacular. every thing worked as it should and the two living room areas with tv worked well for family to split and do what they want.

Super nice place to stay with a group. Clean and spacious, location is top for visiting the glacier, the hosts were very friendly and informative before and during the stay, and the arrival and departure was very flexible and smooth. Thanks a lot for hosting us!

“Amazing place, away from the light to watch aurora”

The villa was exceptional. It had 4 rooms to accommodate all of us (group of 9). One room was single, with one bed, which was great as one of us went sick at that time, so he could be left alone a get well. It had a spacious kitchen, dinning area and living area, good working wi-fi. Location was a little bit too far, in the middle of nowhere, but that's what we wanted: to be away from the light to be able to watch aurora, which we saw on both our nights. That theatre on the sky was indescribable. I also booked the villa for the fact that it had washing machine and dryer, so we could wash and dry our clothes as we were travelling light.
