“Could be great, but don't go in late April.”
Friendly, welcoming staff. Interesting 'teatime' conversation. The chalets are nicely designed although beds are narrow. Good quality but not spectacular food. Delighted to find an orange qvevri wine from Georgia amongst the safer options on the short wine list. It was great to be able to see the ice rooms/bar even though we chose to sleep in a warm chalet!

“Really Cool”
This is an unforgettable experience, full of the novelty and allure of trying the unknown. The ice sculptures scattered throughout the ice walls perfectly complement the atmosphere of the entire hotel. However, the most commendable feature is the large, warm, and well-equipped bathroom and storage room right next to the ice hotel, allowing guests to quickly escape the cold.

“A magical experience”
I stayed in one of the snow rooms and it was without doubt the most memorable experience of my Norway trip (I slept surprisingly well!) The location is stunning and very peaceful, the facilities (restaurant/ sauna etc) are great and being able to go and meet the resident dogs whenever you like was a bonus. The best thing about this place though is the staff, who are super friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you have a nice stay. For info: meals are taken in a communal dining hall and there is a set menu, but if you have dietary requirements just tell them and they will cater for you. The set sauna times are early in the morning but you just have to ask and they will turn it on anytime. The sauna along with lockers, luggage storage space and very clean showers and toilets are in a building adjoining the snow hotel and there is also a lounge where snow room guests can hang out and stay warm. The snow hotel rooms are open to visitors to wander around from 9am to 9pm - after that the room is yours.

The property feels lovely and remote even though it is only 25 minutes from Kirkenes. Stayed in the Snowhotel. Had the best nights sleep. Meals were lovely.

I feel compelled to leave a review of our stay at Snow Resort Hotel, as I truly want as many people as possible to learn about this extraordinary place. The hotel’s concept is absolutely impressive — spending a night in an ice room is a unique opportunity to experience, even briefly, how people survive in Arctic conditions. At the same time, the hotel staff do everything possible to ensure that your stay is comfortable, engaging, and truly unforgettable. Special praise goes to the cuisine — the dishes we were served are, in my opinion, worthy of a Michelin star 👌 We enjoyed a tartare made from the delicacies of the Barents Sea and a reindeer steak, both exquisite and perfectly prepared. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities right on its premises, so there is no need to leave the property at all. You can enjoy sledding with huskies or reindeer, take part in a king crab safari where the freshly caught crab is cooked and served to you, or book a snow safari on snowmobiles. For those seeking relaxation, there is a sauna or the option to unwind by the fireplace in the cozy Gamma lounge. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and any requests are handled immediately — a clear sign of a high level of professionalism 👌 We enjoyed every single minute of our stay. Every member of the team, every detail of the hotel, and even nature itself — crowned by the magical nighttime display of the Northern Lights — made our stay at Snow Resort Hotel truly fairytale-like and unforgettable ❤️ 10 out of 10. Highly recommended — you will not regret it!

“Absolutely a must stay vacation place in the Arctic Circle”
The atmosphere and being snow covered was a unique experience for us. Staying in the Ice Hotel was also a marvellous and unique experience. Other available experiences including husky sleigh trips and viewing the reindeer further added to the wonderful adventures made available.
