The indoor public bath features an Utase-yu (hot spring waterfall), sauna and whirlpool bath, while the Rotenburo (open-air hot spring) enjoys fresh mountain air. It's clearly not new, but I would say well maintained. The room was clean. The dinner and breakfast is a little flat, but I not bad.

friendly staffs and a great outdoor onsen - outside of hotel building walking toward like a forest or park, outdoor onsen very cosy at night or early morning, tourist center is walking distance nearby
