The whole experience was fantastic! Very comfortable beds, a private Onsen bath with sensational mountain views and a very lovely owner who cooks a spectacular breakfast from his garden. Couldn’t recommend this experience more.

It was a good experience staying in a Japanese private house together with the owner. Tajima san is an excellent host, friendly, decent and gave us the most space in his house. He made also the breakfast for us using vegetables in the garden, his seesam dressing is really the best what I have ever had, thank you for your recept and I will try it out when I am back home. Thank you Tajima san for your hostability and the very nice private onsen we loved.

Spacious and warm home. Our host Shiro is really friendly & hospitable. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cheesecake. Every morning we woke up to freshly made breakfast with fresh produce from his garden. We love the private onsen best and to be able to sleep viewing the stars in the warmth of the tatami room. Location is a great base to explore Kirishima & Mt Karakuni, many waterfalls & relax with nature.
