Lovely and quiet location in the woods. Near a cozy little cafe and a popular lunch spot. Not too far from Kirishima shrine.

Thoughtful arrangements like all things needed for BBQ, coffee, tea, all kitchen cutleries/utensils, toiletries, positioning of the portable heaters and very clear instructions on how to operate the various appliances. Even before we checked in, clear instructions on the route to the villa, visiting a grocery.(as there's none nearby)... Pleasure communicating with the host who is very responsive.

“Cute cute cute.”
The house is really spacious and very cute. It looks like if Pinterest was a building. The bathtub was great after long days of hiking in the area, and their recommendation to go to the local famous cream puff place was a big win! There doesn't seem to be many business nearby, but if you have a car they'd be a short drive (under 15 minutes).

The host was super helpful to get to the place and especially out of the place after a rain storm. The place was very comfortable for having to spend the day inside due to very bad weather.

The house is located beautifully in the middle of the National Park surrounded by trees. It is decorated thoughtfully and felt like a home far from home. The host was the nicest person we met on our journey. She even helped us with a problem we had with our luggage and took care of us. Thank you so much! We will come back!
