The staff was really friendly and nice. They were super helpful. They arranged us packed breakfast and lunch to take on the safari. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Special mention of the food, it was absolutely delicious. All the meals were excellent.

Perfect location to start an early morning safari. Extremely specious, clean and well equipped rooms. Staff at the reception was kind and welcoming even tho we arrived at the late hours and departed early from the hotel. Very nice and heated swimming pool. Everything super! We will definitely return and highly recommend to everyone, including families.

This place is amazing. The staff are the nicest people and really make your stay. We arrived late and they still welcomed us with fresh juice and hand towels to freshen up. The breakfast and dinner were so tasty, and our room was lovely and spacious. I would recommend staying here to my friends and we were sad our stay was so short.

We liked the the facilities, especially the pool and the rooms. They were all were very good. The service was superb and the staff was really welcoming and helpful. We had dinner included and we ordered an extra lunch. With each meal the bar was raised and it was the best food we've got in Sri Lanka.

Very niceady works there

This was a great choice to stay in Yala. The room was huge, beds extremely comfortable and very nice decoration. The outdoors common areas were also super pleasant with a great pool. We loved to stay here with the kid and spend a chill afternoon before the early morning safari. The staff is super kind.

“Lovely hotel with huge rooms, very close to Yala national park”

Loads of wildlife around including Langur Monkeys in the gardens and a big swimming pool. The hotel staff packed breakfast for us on the morning of our safari. It’s one of the closest hotels to Yala block one without being inside the actual park so we were at the front of the queue to enter.

The property was chosen due to proximity to Yala national park. But the stay became very much about the experienced staff, that anticipated our needs for a safari. They went out of their way to prepare a breakfast for us before our 5am safari pick up. Not to mention they prepared a gluten free breakfast for me (which has not been easy in Sri Lanka). The staff were also helpful guides to town, giving advice on dining options, though they were able to host us for any meal too. The rooms were generously sized and the rooms and grounds had a lot of pride in maintaining cleanliness and care. I would recommend this property.

Cafe up the road selling coffee and baked goods. Staff were very helpful when we had to change our booking due to the weather.

We had a wonderful stay at Yala Chalets. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Shanthi was especially helpful, and the gentleman who welcomed us was very pleasant and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and truly exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we deeply appreciate the warm hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again!
