This family-run 4-star hotel offers a central yet quiet location in the centre of Kirchberg in Tirol, only 6 km away from Kitzbühel. Enjoy Tyrolean holiday tradition at Hotel Metzgerwirt in the picturesque Brixen Valley, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. The restaurant serves a wide range of Tyrolean and international dishes. Once a week in summer, barbecue evenings are hosted on the beautiful terrace. Spend pleasant moments in the sauna and the steam bath, as well as at the cosy bar. Experience a fascinating mountain world with countless options for skiing, hiking and mountain biking, or discover of the many attractions in the Kitzbühel region in a day trip. In summer the Metzgerwirt organises guided cycle tours and hikes to the hotel's own mountain hut on the Legeralm pasture, which is over 500 years old - complete with a traditional meal.

The saloon to have tea, coffee and cakes in the evening was great, so cozy and comfortable. The sauna was also great, and also the room, so big and comfortable. All was great. Looking forward to coming again.

Good service for the money. Meal is good, hotel is cozy, well located, has contract with skie rental. Really like the option just left a ski staff in ski room at the end of the rental, no need to return by yourself.

Poor Breakfast options and it didnt open until 0745 which is crazy for a ski hotel

can't understand why the serving staff at the restaurants out in the city were so aggressive to get tips, we've never experienced that before in Austria

“Cozy atmosphere”
The hotel is excellent, in the center of Kirchberg. The hotel's position is excellent for the Fleckalmbahn and Maierlbahn cable. The ski bus often passes within a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean, with nice furniture. Parking is easily available. Breakfast is high quality and varied. I would especially like to praise the staff who are kind and warm. We would like to thank the patient receptionist who helped us with buying a ski pass and transportation. The whole atmosphere in the hotel as soon as you enter is very cozy.

“Very central, very convenient location -- top for a skiing vacation.”
I like the very central location, the general service, the room, the balcony, the facilities, in particular, the sauna, which the hosts allowed me to use even after the checkout. This is very practical if you check out and go skiing for the rest of the day, and then relocate. Taking a shower in the meantime is a factor.

The location is good, close to the bus stop to skilifts. Wellness facilities were good, small, but decent. The room was clean.

“Amazing trip! Highly recommended place!”
If I need to point something I can come up only with small things. Maybe breakfast menu could be more diverse. Room was ok- small but cosy. Only bathroom needs some refreshment. We were waiting long for warm water. It was hard to take hot shower.
