Gerard is a welcoming host, we were more than happy to have him as our host. The grounds around the house are full of rabbits, absolutely loved it. The room is fine, beds were fine. The house is a little tired, but this is baked into the price. Location-wise, we were arriving to Dublin and driving towards Sligo the next day, so it is perfect for us. Breakfast is basic, but it is included and will keep you going, removing a headache of trying to find something nearby asap.

Great position for access to main roads to experience Central Ireland. Clean property with clean bedding and lounge area.

great location, it's approximately an hour outside of Dublin off the highway, perfect for my need as I don't want to say in city center. Gerard the host is a great person & I enjoy our chats, learned that he bought the place & fixed it all by himself throughout the year, huge respect to that. The room & bed are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is simple but good. I am someone who have stayed in all kind of accommodation during my frequent travel (from sleep in car to 5 stars hotels), and I would say this place has one of the best price-to-value balance. I would stay again in my next visit to Ireland

I entered the gates and a hundred rabbits scattered before me like a fairy story! It looks like a slightly disheveled country mansion that has been squatted by hotel guests!
