“A paradise hotel close to Paradise beach”

Hotel Sylvia is in a wonderful position, in a garden of olive trees between mountains and a stone/sandy beach. It is quiet and during the night it is possible to hear the sound of the waves (depending on the room position). The rooms are simple, clean, with fridge, A/C (never used at the end of August), mosquito net, possibly a balcon with small table and chairs, daily cleaning and change of towels and sheets every 3 days. It is possible to have breakfast, salted and sweet, with fresh season fruit, homemade cakes, Greek yogurt, eggs/omelettes, feta cheese, toasts, olives (original from Thassos) and whatever one might wish. There is a swimming pool with sunbeds, and sunbeds are also in the garden a few meters far away from the beach. There's a large common terrace and a lot of common places where to sit, read, relax, and chat. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, I'd say familiar, with Yianna and Giorgios providing everything from the beginning to the end of the stay. I personally appreciated the sunrises from my window, the sound of the sea, the garden, the silence, the general atmosphere, the chats with Yianna and Giorgios, the Yianna's apple- and plum-cakes (wow!).

The owner of the hotel is very kind and speaks excellent English. She was very helpful to us during our stay. There is a nice restaurant near the hotel where you can have very good food.

Perfect location with beautiful sea view. Every day we had cleaning services in our room, all was very clean and nice to stay. The owner is a very good guy and nice. Any time when you need something you can ask him and you will get helped. Really good place to stay and to spent your vacation time.

It wasn't clean like the host advertised. If you kiss the host ass it's all honey but when you point out something that you as a customer think it's not ok,then you gonna get yelled at, mocked and threatened with police. DON'T LISTEN TO ALL THE COMMENTS!! Thrust me, I'm a normal guy and I was there.

Hosts are very kind and helpful, they were always at our disposal. Very nice people. Rooms are clean and solid equipped. Room was not so big, but looks exact like it is on photos on Booking web site. Breakfast was fine. Pool is clean and with enough sunbeds around, so one can spent pleasant time in the hotel during the afternoon. Big parking is nearby. There is a small beach 100 meters far away from the hotel. All in all, Sylvia hotel provides best value for money service and deserves high recommendations.
