“Really good place to stop after a long flight, and before a long drive.”
The breakfast was really tasty, we opted for the Jamaican one and it was excellent. The room was was quiet, clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It also served a variety of meals and snacks, which were welcome after a long flight. This was the second time we have stayed at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Port Royal.

Great Location, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always delicious. Shower had great high pressure hot water. The Views are breathtaking. I'll be back😃

“Not pleasant felt ripped off with the cost of the taxi and the waitress trying to scam me.”
The location is far 3 miles from the airport. The only way to get there is by taxi if you aren't driving. The staff are cagey about calling a taxi and a family member of one of the staff came and picked me up for $30! I had dinner and the waitress asked me if I am going to leave a tip. She then took my card and charged me a tip the same price as the meal I had just eaten! I was totally shocked. She totally tried to scam me. Rooms need up dating and a bloody good clean. I would stay her again.

“Wonderful view and great food”
The view over the harbour was perfect, the staff were very friendly and it was easy to find both my room and the restaurant. The food is very good, the jerked prawn pasta was much needed after a long flight. Plus the hotel is not far from the airport, which was a bonus.

“Convenient for airport we missed our flight great views of Kingston at night but poor customer service”
Lots of stagnant water lots of mosquitoes the decide to use fog to subdue them while after many complaints from guests too little too late

“The hotel manager endeavoured to make good the next day, he was excellent and obliged by refunding my booking, for that”
Looked very good at face value but then I was put in a poorly presented room, not even shown to the room… it’s over there. Things in the room didn’t work. And this was how I was greeted after an almost 40 hour trip, Sydney, San Fran, Miami, Kingston. The duty manager had no interest in my concerns, he remained sitting at the bar,
