Overview
Located in downtown Kingston, Ontario, this hotel is 2 blocks from the harbour and 10 minutes' walk from the Marine Museum. It features rooms with free WiFi. Kingston Market Square Hotel boasts a 32" plasma TV and views of Old Kingston or the harbour from every room. A well-lit work station, coffee maker and lounge chair are also provided. The on-site King Street Sizzle Restaurant and Bar serves a variety of dishes using organic ingredients. It features an open kitchen where guests can see the chefs and a seasonal outdoor patio. Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises are a 5 minutes' walk away and St. George's Cathedral is only one block from the Sheraton Kingston hotel. Queen's University is 15 minutes' walk away. The hotel will be undergoing a guestroom renovation from now until December 31, 2023. Construction will be limited to regular business hours.

The supervisor on staff was some middle manager disgruntled woman who did nothing to accommodate making my family stay comfortable. Cot request was declined by her and refunding extra night prepaid was also declined due to strict adherence to policy. Customer experience at this Marriott is secondary to revenue and profit. Parking garage under construction, dangerous, multiple guests complained, probably should be closed but again, $35/night per vehicle is the reason they are putting the public safety at risk. Horrible hotel, will never stay here again. Bunch of greedy, unfriendly staff.
