“Lovely stay in a beautiful property that has so much charm and character”

We loved our room , very spacious and comfortable. Checking in was easy and staff extremely friendly and helpful . The property has so much character, the gardens were lovely . Excellent location to the centre of Kingston . Good communication throughout the booking and during our stay.

The location is great as you can reach all sights by walking. Moreover, the house was very cozy and traditional. A great stop for a roadtrip.

We were not in the main building, but this wasn't a bad thing as their might have been more stairs. Bed was comfy, room wasn't a bad size, but we found out they do not clean the room or change towels etc during your stay. But if you ask reception, they can arrange this to be done. We needed our room hoovering as due to the snow, everywhere had been gritted and this left bits of grit in your room, under your feet. Breakfast had everything you would need to start your day, and a bonus is tea, coffee and hot chocolate on tap and free all day. They do only have 9 parking spaces, and its first come first served. The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere so leave your car parked, we even walked to an ice hockey game without any bother. And the bonus is, if you do the Haunted Kingston tour, you do visit the hotel!!!!! ;-)

Clean, charming, well-located, helpful staff. On-site parking is very helpful for out-of-town travellers!

Character, room, breakfast. A lovely spot.

Beautiful heritage property with real character. Neighbourhood was very quiet but centrally located. Staff were wonderful, and even offered us a free upgrade to a bigger room.

Period property with parking

The hotel was quite nice and the staff also. They have a garden quite beautiful and the location was nearly to the city center. The room was cozy and comfortable but I didn't see any elevator but in general the place was super nice.

An amazing property. Feels like a Scottish mansion from the inside. Really cosy. The location is also great, a quiet neighborhood but just 10 minutes walk from the lakeside and the downtown area. Free (sweet) breakfast which was really good, way better than the free breakfast one gets at the usual corporate hotels. Free parking. Highly recommend - would stay there again without thinking twice!
