“Perfect”

This is a charming motel. Spotless inside and out. Rooms appointed with everything one could need. I have worked in bus tour travel for 40 years. That means around 6,000 hotel stays. Only 2 or 3 motel properties have even come close to Green Acres.

Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and responded to requests immediately.

We were welcomed by Sarah, who was very helpful. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Parking was free and conveniently right outside the room. It's close to restaurants, which is great for breakfast.

Very clean and well maintained with nicer grounds than in typical motel style property. Good environment - set well back from a very busy dual carriageway. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful. Also nice that coffee was available in reception. Information was provided on places to eat locally and downtown. Good burger place adjacent, and other cafes and Drugstore across the road. We were travelling by public transport / walking so valued the good bus service with stops a short walk away, and not too far from train station. A member of staff offered us a lift to the train station when we left!

“Great experience”

Excellent location in a quiet setting with great attention to detail. Room was very well maintained. The combination of a traditional "drive-up" motel with thoughtful updating is hard to beat.

“Almost exceptional”

Very quaint, family owned operation for 4 generation. It's clear that effort is being put in to keep this place above your average motel. The staff is super helpful and friendly. There's the little extra touch with the espresso and fresh baked cookies at the reception. The surroundings are also very pleasant with a lot of green grass, trees, and beautiful gazebo. The rooms are still designed like traditional motels but gone are the disgusting bed covers and instead the beds are covered with modern hotel-like covers. The beds are comfy, with quality mattresses (we prefer a little firmer mattress personally, but there was nothing wrong with them). Overall a nice place to stay in, 10 minutes from Downtown Kingston.
