Really bad communication. II paid R2407 for unit 31, when I got there the owner told me I have to go to unit 23 (a different owner) that didn't have the same flat as advertised. No Balcony, no sea view. The owner at 23 where I got placed said it costs R1900 but I paid R2407 for unit 31, I'm trying to get a refund of the R500 but the owners haven't contacted back I emailed many times and no response it's been 2 days. Booking.com says they couldn't make an agreement with owner and only gave me R190 when I'm actually oweed R500..

“Absolute DISGUST”
the property was in a disgraceful state; the curtains were hanging off their rail. The sleeper couch fell apart as you sat on it. All kitchen utensils were rusted and not useable. The lounge couches were rotten and covered with an old blanket. No towel rail in the bathroom. The DSTV was used for one night only as it was not paid. The main bedroom side tables were falling off the wall, bedding very old and very used. Rip off and scam, I would rate it minus 5 if I could

There's a lot to love about Cabanas Del Mar. I've spent weekends there ever so often since 2005 and I've got to see the best and the worst of this place. It's still an amazing location. Close proximity to the beach. Safe and secure play area for kids. Mostly clean pools. Conveniently located braai areas. The unit boasts an airy ambiance with slide n stack doors that open up to reveal great views of the pool area, a cool sea breeze and the soothing sounds of the waves. Extremely basic essentials are included. AC works well. But there isn't really much more to be commented on the likes of the place.

“The stay was Ok, but there are some things the unit could do with to make the stay a bit nicer,”
The unit had an aircon which was nice, view of the sea wasnt really great, the braai areas were nice
