Even nicer than on the pictures, perfect cabin, fully equipped and amazing location (we were lucky enough to see spectacular nothern lights every evening there). Jon is a fantastic host, super responsive and helpful with any requests. Thanks a million for having us

“Perfect holiday with my love!”

Nice cottage with sauna. Excellent service so everything was easy to find. Terrace was large and we enjoyed the the fireplace. Kitchen was good and we could make an excellent dinner from raindeer. Defenately place I would stay again at Kilpisjärvi

“Absolutely magical for family of four staying over New Year”

Kelo Aurora far exceeded our expectations. We stayed four nights over New Year as family of four 2A and 2C (10+8) on holiday from Australia. The cabin was exceptionally well decorated and equipped and SO MUCH SPACE! The children appreciated having their own rooms and loved the Bear rug to watch movies from. We appreciated that it was a stand alone cabin so didn’t have to worry about the children being noisy for neighbours. The view over the lake is exceptional, and we had a very special evening cooking sausages and roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire, greatly appreciating the reindeer fur for warmth. The host was easy to contact and directions for check in very clear. We had a decent snow fall whilst there so appreciated use of the drive shovel (and the local tractor that then came past to clear the drive!). We were treated to the most magnificent Aurora to celebrate the new year and could enjoy it from just outside the house. This place is heaven and we would happily live here! The children had great fun playing in the snow and using their Christmas sleds just outside! A very short drive to the Kmarket if needed. Perfect place for anyone wanting to get away and truly relax.

Ventilation windows didn't have mosquito nets and the were open when we arrived, so the place was filled with mosquitos. This made the sleeping for the two nights uncomfortable for all of us (5 people). Also the ventilation windows are only way to ventilate the place (no air condition). Towels were hanging partly wet in different places and most of the beds weren't made and they looked like they were as the previous customers left them. Also the kitchen floor was sticky and dirty. We contacted the owner and he said he tries to help but nothing was done during our stay.

Most lovely cosy cabin! We loved our stay here!! Very quiet location, fantastic views, waw! Modern and equipped wooden cabin with a delightful terrace, even in winter!

The cabin was big and spacious and very beautiful. It was clean and the location was perfect. We went on an ice fishing trip but we noticed we needed some tools to fix our equipment. We found all the tools we needed from the cabin which was just perfect. Jon was very fast to answer all the questions we had. Shortly put the cabin was perfect and the value really really good. I would definitely come back!
