Cahkal is a true gem! The decor is a beautiful mix of Scandinavian elegance and cozy warmth that made us feel instantly at home. We will not forget our moments by the fireplace sipping tea or the delicious menues served at the restaurant. But what made our stay truly unforgettable was Bugra and Tony. They pampered us from start to finish with such genuine warmth and attentiveness. Their exceptional hospitality turned a lovely stay into something very special.

The Cahkal Hotel in Kilpisjärvi is a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay in this very special part of Lapland where Finland, Sweden, and Norway meet at one point. The service at the Cahkal Hotel is excellent and the breakfast buffet very delicious! The location of the hotel is fantastic!

This is a super comfy, good-looking hotel with the friendliest staff I have ever met, and it has an optimal location and view.

Everything. The location, food, service, rooms etc. were all absolutely fantastic. The whole hotel was very modern and tastefully decorated. We had the three course meal both nights of our stay, and whilst quite pricey, the food was of an extremely high quality, that justified the cost.

The hotel was all newly built and you could still smell the wood from the house. We booked a studio that is in a separate house with wonderfull terasse and great view even from the bed. The room was comfortable and clean. The main house serves delicious breakfast and the dinner menu was even more excellent. You can watch the countryside also from the restaurant and if you are cold, the fireplace is ready to warm you up even in the summer. Sauna is in one word amazing. You can watch the Saana mountain from the inside or sit outside at the front terasse and listen to a creek and the whisper of birch trees ... everything has just the right athmosphere. We left with the highest impressions and we strongly recommend the hotel to other visitors. Here we discovered what the famous Finnish style of living trully means.

Breakfast was great - but could have started slightly earlier. Location wonderful and the staff genuinely very helpful.

The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. The room is very clean and well thought of. Buffet breakfast is simple but very presentable. The only setback is the boiled eggs should be warmer when served.
