The apartment itself was really nice. Loved the timber and cosiness. Really good sauna where we could jump into the snow off the balcony.

Nice house, very kind hosts. I made a mistake with the check-in date and booked the wrong day, but they kindly allowed us to arrive the next day without any problem. The house is very cozy and has everything you need, but you should bring your own shampoo/soap and towels.

Near supermarket, gass station, walking trail to the lake. Everything is near and accomodation is nice, equiped with everything you need.

Water stopped, no one at the reception, called the number. The man said he does know when the water would come. Very slow and useless internet. Additional tax for bed linens and cleaning tax.

“Lovely wood cabin stay 🌌🏠”

Lovely place, cozy wooden cabin close to the shop with a sauna! The owners are really nice, had kitchen with the basic utilities fit for enjoying cozy meals. I will absolutely come back, and Kilpisjärvi is a wonderful place. Great location for Northern Lights! 🌌 One note: the bedroom is up the stairs, the ceiling is quite low, I (1.65 m) had to watch my head quite often. Taller people, be aware 😊

1. Great location - near some trails, near the store ans near the fuel station. 2. Friendly personnel. 3. Wooden house. 4. Kitchen utensils (kettle, coffee maker, microwave, big fridge) 5. Own balcony 6. Long sofa downstairs to stretch legs 7. Thermostats in each room downstairs and a radiator upstairs 8. Fire place inside 9. Sauna 10. Waste separation facility! 12. Spices, salt, tea, sugar.

“Good relatively affordable place for family stay.”

Excellent location just 200 m walk to the Kilpisjärvi central shops yet still in a beautiful nature surrounding. Hiking routes start just 100 m away. Good price to quality ratio in an otherwise expensive Kilpisjärvi (this time of the year). Good for a family stay with plenty of sleeping places. Kitchen was well equipped, had coffee brewer and even some left over salt flour and coffee filters.

Beautiful location right next to the national park, waterfall, Saana fell, and, of course, petrol station and supermarket. The owner is a very pleasant person. The lodge itself was very spacious, and there was a sauna!

It was good !!! I was happy with my stay. They allowed me to check in early which was very accommodating and meant a lot. I had an apt that was clean, simple and basic nothing fancy but good. Fair price, beautiful location and quiet. I’d def stay again I’m in Kilpis a lot . Thanks

“Perfect place to stay in Kilpisjärvi”

This is place is highly recommended for people travelling to Kilpisjärvi. This place is merely 200 metres from the bus stop where long distance buses from Oulu, Rovaniemi, Kittila or Levi stops. There is K market nearby. The Kilpissafarit which conducts various tours is also merely 700 meter from here.

We loved the sauna in our room, we loved that our host messaged us to let us know to go outside because the northern lights were in the sky and we loved that the accommodation was a couple of minutes walk from the bus station and they held our bags for us for the day

“Excellent location, but overpriced and extra costs for smelly sheets and towels”

The location is excellent: there's a supermarket and a great restaurant 300m away, and the hiking trails and Norwegian border are also very close (you can reach them by car in 5-10 minutes). The cottage was spacious and had a sauna.

Nice & cozy, not big chain/corporation feeling to it. Pet friendly is a great plus!

Location was perfect. The Sauna, as well. The host was super nice and very helpful with giving ideas about what to do and what to see.

“Cozy stay in a convenient area close to facilities and hiking paths!”

This place feels so cozy and authentic! I loved having breakfast there in the morning while watching the sun rise above the snowy hills by the window. It's very easy to reach by bus from Tromso (with Best Arctic buses). It's also really close to a convenience store, restaurants, and hiking paths, and relatively close to the Kiplisjärvi lake. This lake is frozen all winter long, so it's an ideal spot to watch northern lights!

Breakfast was providing our own but it was a very good location close to the main reception and K-market. The restaurant at K Market was extremely nice too and tgr host was extremely friendly and I would recommend coming again. Polar night was fascinating and added a new dimension to the whole stay. Watching the amazing colours in the mountains with a constant, sunrise/sunset sky
