“Different and a great fun experience”

The concept, i.e. nature combined with comfort well done: Comfortable and very cosy huts (incl. heating!), good facilities for washing and meeting up in evening even in (as our case) wet weather. Lovely breakfast with homemade fresh bread and jams, fresh fruit, and other nice selection of cereals and cheeses. Friendly welcoming host. Beautiful grounds and overall area. Well thought through concept, e.g. provision of lights and umbrellas for walking from huts to toilet facilities, charging point for EV car, lots of information on area, things to do etc.

“Peaceful and relaxing”

Very cozy and warm shepherds huts with comfortable beds. Mary and Robert were lovely and very accommodating. We had a beautiful walk around the property. Such a peaceful and quiet area. Nice healthy breakfast with homemade breads and jam.

“Ideal place to unwind”

Perfect getaway from Dublin, a very relaxing stay with a beautiful area to explore. We were lucky with sunny weather and sat out enjoying it after a stroll around the grounds, but I imagine in colder months it's just as nice. The huts are super cosy and comfortable, with a great shared living space to avail of as well. The breakfast was a bonus, a fab mix of freshly baked bread and fruits, laid out so we could help ourselves. Mary and Robert were both so lovely, and made us very welcomed :)

Everything about this property was ten out of ten. The cabin was perfect and the communal area had everything you couldn’t ever need plus style and comfort. Right down to the fresh flowers. The breakfast was also divine. Still warm homemade sourdough! The attention to detail without fuss is what makes this place so very special. It feels genuine from top to bottom and the host could not have been better. Kind, welcome and knowledgeable and perfectly gave you your own space. There is no question I will be back and I will stay for longer for sure. I can’t recommend this stay enough.

It's heavenly. The location is beautiful. The host is delightful. The facilities are super. The huts are charming. The breakfast is generous and delicious - homemade bread and jams and organic produce.

We had a lovely stay at the Shepherds Huts. Such a relaxing space and Mary looked after us so well. The breakfast was amazing!

A little piece of heaven! The location is just beautiful, Robert and Mary have created something really special here. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling through the grounds, and the shepherds hut was so cute, comfy and warm. The shared facilities for bathrooms and kitchen have everything you need. And a lovely breakfast spread to top it all off. Thank you! We’ll be back :)

Destiny took me to this piece of heaven. I totally fell in love with this place since second one. Mary welcomed me with the kindest energy and I discovered a magical place, created with love, care and attention to detail. Everything is prepared to make you connect with the nature and your self. Love the whole place. Loved the trees and gardens. Mary was very welcoming from the home made bread to the honey straight off the honeycomb for breakfast! Next time we will do one of the foraging courses!
