It was a lovely building and ideally situated for our early airport journey the next day. The decor was so lovely. And the welcome we had was also lovely.

My stay at Villa Asimba was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. This place offers a warmth and comfort that is truly priceless. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. ​A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts, Justine and Isabel, who made my stay so special. Their hospitality and attention to detail are exceptional, and they truly go above and beyond for their guests. The room was perfect, and the atmosphere throughout the villa is serene and welcoming. ​Also, a bit of advice for future guests: the Spinach Lasagna is a must-try!!! It was delicious and easily one of the highlights of my visit. ​I will definitely be back and cannot recommend Villa Asimba enough for anyone looking for a soulful, high-quality stay in Kigali.

Isabelle and Justine are really friendly. We even call Isabelle 'maman Isabelle'. Rooms are very clean. Food is good, but needs to be reserved upfront. So keep that in mind. Very nice stay!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Isabelle and Justine are so kind and welcoming. We ordered dinner and breakfast during our visit. The food was fantastic, so well presented and cooked for us personally. This is not a hotel but a home away from home. Nestled between Kigali city centre and the airport it was a wonderful place to stay.. we organised our return travel to the airport and allowed us an extra late checkout.. superb in every way .

It was the tip until now at 5 countries in Africa .From the start until the end of was so professional and helpful.The taxi driver (partner of the hotel ) so friendly and knowledgeable.The Villa amazing design,so clean and the owner Justin she is cooking unbelievable cooking food like be in my country (Greece ) Mediterranean.Simply the best in Kigali and around Africa !!!!!!!!!

We liked our room- very clean and well supplied. We liked our host; she was very friendly and accommodating. However, we feel that she deceived us and overcharged us- see below.

“An absolute Kigali gem!”

What a wonderful place to stay. We had a very warm welcome. The two sisters that own the guest house are thoroughly professional and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and honestly the best cappuccino! Sadly for us we were only there for one night but I would highly recommend it.

The place itself was beautiful, clean, and cozy. However, the real gem was the host, Isabel, who was very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

“The best hotel we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Rwanda”

Isabelle and Justine, who co-run the hotel, are the absolute best. They took such great care of us while also feeling like we were staying with friends. The food (we had breakfast each day and one night had dinner) was some of the best we had in Rwanda, and well worth the cost. We stayed in two different types of room (King and Junior Suite - both upgraded from the rooms we had booked!) and they were clean, spacious, and well decorated, with air conditioning, a good shower and extras like a Nespresso machine. The location is between the aiport and the city centre, on a quiet street but close to a main road for taxis/moto-taxis.
