“Fantastic budget friendly clean basic hotel in a local area of Kigali”

Very good budget friendly hotel in a local area. The room was clean and had all the basics needed for a good holiday including a restaurant for breakfast, soap and water in the rooms, and someone always at reception to help.

The host was very polite. He made sure we were always on time to places and always made sure that the experience at the hotel was the best. Furthermore, the rooms were clean and offered amenities as we had expected. The hotel employees were always at our service and very kind while at it. I definitely recommend anyone else coming to Kigali Rwanda to stay at this cosy and amazing place.

“A central location, helpful staff”

The staff was very kind and helpful: cleaning employees, receptionists, guards and cooks. They deserve respect and a raise ! The area is very lively, close to many places in Kigali. Breakfast changes every day. The rooftop is nice.

The premise is very nice, clean and comfortable, especially the newer building (the shower has very good pressure). The facilities are good and the staff are excellent. Breakfast is good and adequate though variety would be better. It was very nice to be welcomed by the owner Mr. Andrew, who also assisted with arranging the tours. Thank you for your hospitality.

“Fantastic! Very good meals!”

Very neat! The Manager and the lady at the reception were very helpful and responsive. The hotel arranged airport pickup for us and also shoutout to the chef who cooked us a delicious meal even though we arrived very late. My family and I, are very grateful

Excellent breakfast. Very nice settings the restaurant is in. Staff are very nice and helpful. Great value for money. Airport pickup was great too. Supermarkets nearby. Room has BBC CNN Al Jazeera etc. My rating is 8.6 out of 10. I stayed for 4 nights.

“A lovely experience”

The breakfasts were good and the hotel was willing to go an extra mile to satisfy the guests. The hotel owner (Andrew) is friendly, so also are all the staff. The rooms are neat and the mattresses good.. It’s important to note that the hotel has solar powered water heater, which can also be powered by electricity. So on rainy days (with very little or no sunlight), inform the hotel staff to switch the heater to electricity mode. Andrew is ever willing to make transportation arrangement to and fro the airport at cheaper rates.

Really helpful owner, readily available and responsive. Helpful, kind and friendly staff. The room is basic, but had everything I needed. I appreciated the electric fan and the power point next to the bed. The on-site restaurant/bar was also good. I appreciated the owner helping to coordinate my airport pick up and drop off

Cheap and cheerful with staff who go above and beyond to ensure guest happiness. Thank you for the delicious to-go breakfast, large and clean room, and stunning views of the city from the balcony!

We had a great time staying at Macchiato Suites! The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are great and best of all the staff are all amazingly kind and helpful! Special shout out to Freddy who we really enjoyed getting to know during our stay!

The staff are great and welcoming. The facilities were extremely clean. The rooftop is excellent. The airport shuttle was also prompt and delivered as promised. It is a good entry point into Kigali, I never felt like I was in a curated bubble . From the rooftop you can see the beauty of Kigali and everyone carrying on with their day. Breakfast was good and the chefs never missed. The team also helped with navigating around Kigali. For the price point and services it's excellent.

“Accommodation at its best”

I loved everything about the place. The receptionist was very welcoming, and she made sure I didn't lack anything. Machiato suites was amazing. At night, you are able to have a very beautiful view of Kigali from the rooftop. The rooms are super clean and cosy..... I just highly recommend this for anyone planning on visiting Kigali

“Awesome”

The property is located just beside the main road and lots of bike/cabs are available outside. So you can go anywhere you want. The rooftop has an excellent city view. Specially at night the twinkling city lights will mesmerize you. The staffs are super friendly and very very cooperative. The breakfast was beyond my imagination. At first they will serve you a platter of fruits, followed by main breakfast. Their coffee is delicious too. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely love to go back.
