“Disappointing we left and stayed somewhere else”
The area was nice but everything else was disappointing. We left after one night. They sent me a friend to collect us from the airport and this friend took every opportunity to make money out of us. And charging us crazy money and taking advantage. A tourist trap he tried to take us to lots of places which were not nice and we were stopped for speeding for which I was made to pay his fine. Overall I felt used and ashamed for being western and taken advantage of. We didn't get to enjoy Kigali as we were trapped using this guy as our taxi and they didn't share with us any helpful tips like a REAL taxi service or good places to visit so we were trapped.
