“Simply stunning and a Hidden Gem!”

I cannot rate Isunga Lodge highly enough! Simply stunning! Isunga is a piece of paradise overlooking Kibale National Park and with gorgeous gardens around the property with loads of flowers, birds and insects. The individual lodges are spaced away from each other giving lots of privacy. Each are decent in size, beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds, sitting/lounge area, huge shower with very hot water and great water pressure, plus an outdoor sitting area overlooking the forest below. Meals are fresh and delicious, served in the large restaurant area or outside side on pleasant days and evenings. The pool is great way to cool off and relax after a day of adventure too. Wifi signal is strong and available in the individual lodges too. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and always very welcoming with smiles and greetings. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back one day!

Everything, the view the service the rooms were spacious, private. Most important the beautiful garden. Great internet to work from the rooms. Helpful to arrange bodaboda rides and activities around. Easy to find, if you come with a rented car and driver, driver rooms are available. Loved my stay!

Isunga was wildly beautiful. Amazing views and rooms. The food was some of the best we've had in UG. The owners are authentic and friendly, as is the staff. It's easy to find and an easy drive to chimp trekking. Love love this spot.

The whole space is beautiful built, the service is perfect: Special thanks to the kitchen for the very tasty vegan local food & the service team for making our stay 10/10. “Very nice lodge in the crater lakes area”

The lodge is composed of different bungalows scattered around the central building. The bungalow we stayed was big, clean and had all necessary equipment. The central building where the restaurant is also located has a superb terrace with a great view. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was quite good. The lodge is located in the middle of the crater lakes region, a very nice area.

The service was excellent, Karin (the owner), Brian and Lucy (staff) were amazing. The dood was excellent and we had a very nice stay.

Isunga Lodge is unbelievable. For the price, I've never stayed in a better place anywhere in the world. I say that without exaggeration. My fiancé and I stayed in another lodge a week after Isunga that was 5x more expensive, and we were missing Isunga the entire time. The food, the staff, the location, the solitude, the quality of the accommodations far exceeded expectations. Anyone in the area planning a trip to Kibale (or surrounding areas) would be lucky to stay here. Best value for money we had in our entire trip in Africa across multiple countries. What a lovely place.

the location is perfect. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the food is delicious ; the best dishes we had in Africa so far. we really felt like we were at the comfort of our home. they have hot water in the shower.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Incredible service and the owners are very friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting ughanda to stay here for part of their trip. Oh and the food was probably the best of all the places we stayed as well.

The food at this place is amazing! I had the best pumpkin soup at dinner. The shakshuka at breakfast was also delicious. The beds are very comfortable and rooms quite spacious and clean. The owners and staff are friendly. The area is very quiet as expected with privacy for each room. very relaxing with a beautiful view of the forest. A nice place to slow down and unwind if you’re looking for a quiet place in nature.
