“Everything you expect of a lodge”

The staff were cheerful and attentive. Yellowbone the guide was also supernatural in his ability to drop onto cheetah, lions and hyena during the game drives. He was also a font of knowledge and a good laugh. The catering and hospitality staff were amazing, and the "Are you ready for your dinner?" song will stay with us forever! The lodge is ideally situated close to Kwhai village and the nearby reserves and game spots.

“Lovely location and lodge, fantastic staff, amazing food!”

We stayed here for 2 nights second week of November 2024 mid-way though a self-drive safari in Moremi and Chobe and it was the highlight of our trip! The place is situated in a lovely location with great game drives around the surrounding area. It’s also on the doorstep to North Gate entrance if you have your own vehicle and wish to head into the park for the day. The tents and general dining area was excellent, the food was even better. As many other reviews have stated, some of which I read during my own research, the food prepared there by the chef and her team really is something else. The staff are also brilliant and will take care of every need you have. They are friendly, pleasant and genuinely want to see you have a good time. Upon arrival we had a punctured tyre, and despite this not really being an issue of the safari lodge the manager Mange came out when he saw me struggling trying to jack up the vehicle and for the next hour was on the ground with me (he basically did most of the work :) ) helping me get it fixed so we could get out on a game drive. Certainly something I won’t forget. Great guy to sit down with and chat to if you want to find out more about Botswana and the local area as he has a lot of experience around Moremi and is super friendly. We didn’t do any of the game drives offered by the lodge, but based on the experiences of other guests we spoke with in the evenings they had many excellent encounters including finding a leopard not far from the lodge itself. Overall a very well run and pleasant place to be, you will not be disappointed and we cannot wait to go back there.

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Game viewing was great. The rangers were very knowledgeable and interactive. Great value for money. Food was great. The location is out of Africa..and right near the Moremi Park with lots of animals.

“Full experience”

The place offers an unique experience in the bush. The staff is amazing, and they are very well prepared for game drives. Our guide Damian was super, we learned a lot about the place and animals living the area. The food was amazing! I strongly recommend this place.

The chef's meals were very good. The tables were set beautifully and the room staff prepared the rooms well. The staff behind the bar were excellent, always very helpful and attentive.

“Authentic!”

It is located in the middle of the delta and animals walk around the camp freely all day. Doesn’t get more authentic than that!

Activities were cool. They care for vegetarians. Staff are attentive. They fixed all the problems almost immediately. Outside showers are amazing

“Superb location and amazing staff!”

Amazing staff and service. Kay as the manager is doing a very good job and everyone especially the guides (LT) were amazing. The location is in the wild. We had hippos and elephants in the camp. The food was outstanding.

Everything great place great safaris, wonderfull staff, meals are delicious. We were surprised with the quality of the kitchen, the safaris, you can see everything of big 5 except rhino.

Food was great - every meal, service was very attentive, rooms were great - remember they're canvas tents with wooden frames with an en-suit and location was middle of now where, which is what we wanted..

“Relaxing getaway at a safari sanctuary”

This is a safari heaven - all staff members were incredible, and shout out the chef who prepared delicious food for all the meals. We drove in, and the team even took the bother to help wash and clean mud from our car. Thoroughly enjoyed our whole stay. Strongly recommended.

Extremely nice team. During the night we've heard lions roaring, in th emoring thousenf of birds. The game drives was exceptional we've seen a lot of animals even after the sunset.. We have also had the good surprise to find our car washed wenn we go back ! Very good place !
