“Beautiful guesthouse and a fabulous family”

We absolutely loved staying in Khulo at Guest House Karati - so much so that we extended our stay. It has been a real highlight of our trip to Georgia so far. The family are utterly charming: so kind and friendly, and we loved playing table tennis with everyone on our final night. The owners insisted on giving us lifts to and from Khulo town even though we were happy to walk. The breakfast and home made dinner were fantastic: fresh, tasty, almost entirely home grown/made (including the wine), and very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the home made Adjarian specialities including Sinori. The house is in a beautiful setting, high up on the valley side outside Khulo. We would recommend that anyone stay here if they plan to visit Adjara. Thank you!

“Georgian hospitality at its finest”

The hosts were some of the most welcoming I have ever experienced. Little drinks in the evening, healthy breakfast early in the morning as demanded. In all honesty it felt like family staying at the Karati family / guest house, if we ever make it back to Khulo we'll definitely be staying there again :)

“Beautiful Adjara”

Beautiful place, warm people, good food. The views from here when the sun comes up is amazing.

I felt like I came to my Georgian relatives. Быццам да бабулі ў вёску прыехаў і выдатна адпачнуў.

I felt very comfortable and welcome there. Everything was clean and maintained. I got delicious meals on my plates, I couldnt eat all of it, it was a huge portions for one person. The guesthouse, if you go by your foot is harder reachaeble, take a taxi rather.

ძალიან მომეწონა ოჯახი და მათი სითბო. კერძები განსაკუთრებული სიყვარულით იყო მომზადებული. ბორანოს გემო არასდროს დამავიწყდება. ასევე, ცენტრიდან ახლოსაა და ტრანსპორტირება შედიოდა ფასში, რაც ჩემთვის მოულოდნელი იყო. რაც მთავარია, სისუფთავე დამხვდა ნომერში, რასაც ასევე დიდ ყურადღებას ვანიჭებ, რადგან მტვერზე ალერგია მაქვს.

Excellent home stay accommodation- very clean, great rooms and common room facilities. The host family were exceptionally friendly and helpful, while the meals provided were delicious and good value.
