Massive Soviet era hotel kept to a good standard. Checkin was easy and the room was spacious and updated in the not too distant past. Also had a balcony with a view over the river. Good location, easy walking distance to tourist attractions including the telecabin over the river.

Location was great. Fabulous soviet style glitz. Well run facility. Great people on reception - really helpful and spoke good English Buffet breakfast was good most days - seems more effort when there are a large number of guests. Prompt and good laundry service.

The building is quite impressive and location is perfect. Breakfast has a nice variety with yummy local jams and dairy.

“Do not expect too much. You may have a nice view from the balcony.”
The hotel has an excellent location right on the riverbank. All the interesting places are within walking distance. In addition, there is a promenade in front of it. If the room is on the right side, you have a wonderful view. The rooms are quite clean and cleaned frequently. There is only one competing hotel in the city, which is probably better, but much more expensive.

Excellent location, right by the river with beautiful views and very close to the city center. The hotel has history and a unique “Soviet-style” atmosphere that makes it special.

“Great location”
The location of the hotel was excellent. Very close to the fortress and park. I had a balcony facing the river, which was very nice.

Very nice hotel, maybe the best in Khujand. Clean room, view to the river. Great breakfast with many dishes (especially cakes and sweets are great, cheese dishes etc.), very delicious black coffee.
