“Beatiful camp in the middle of rocks in the mountains of Damaraland”

Due to heavy rainfall our originally booked unit was damaged and we were upgraded to the rock suite, which had a separate lounge. The suite was tastfully furnished with a big size. The shower and toilet were outside, who became a little tricky with that thunderstorm we had. Also the thached roof was not suitable for rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was extraordinary delicious, compliments to the chef.

Absolutely stunning property nestled among the rocks. Our suite with a private pool was unbelievale! The common areas were beautiful and the food was top notch. The staff was incredible. Available activies were wondeful especially the sunset viewing area with the cocktail bar.

Exceptional property in a beautiful setting. We had the luxury room with private pool and terrace to enjoy drinks and the sunset. Communal pool was also great overlooking the landscape. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Great lookout point for the sunset - just wish we had booked another night!

We had a lovely stay at this special camp. The staff were attentive to our needs, and the sundowner spot cannot be beaten.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful scenery and perfect for exploring the area. Everything is designed with great attention to detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived. The guides for our drives were knowledgeable and passionate, making every excursion a special experience. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay – it really felt like being at home. Highly recommended!

The service and food were satisfactory. The staff were attentive and responded to our feedback by cleaning the room, which allowed us to at least stay there for the night. Location and view were very nice.

“Outstanding lodge”

The best lodge ever. Amazing views. Very friendly staff. Wonderfull rockpool. Sundowner with nice drinks and snacks. The dinner very tasty also the breakfast with the valley view. The rooms really nice decorated and the view from my terras with all the rocks around...a dreamlocation. Birds singing....very relaxing. Amazing experience. And we saw an elephant on the entrance. Thanks to the full staff. Hope to return back on a day.....

“Paradise”

A paradise hidden in a secluded mountain range. Most amazing staff. The tents are separated from each other to provide privacy.

This is a beautiful and exceptional location. Great staff, facilities, food, views and game drive. We only stayed one night and wlsh we'd stayed for 2. Starry night sky was beautiful.

Beautiful place! Excellent elephant drive with Ziggy and great service from Ronnie very much looked after here. Food was great with massive portions. Really could recommend more. Beautiful viewing spot for sunset. Room was to a very high standard.

Nice landscape - beautiful sundowner We experienced fantastic views in the surroundings, colourful birds, elephants in the river-bed, kind people at the lodge.

“Very special place for romantic stay”

The place and the property are very special. You stay in the middle of impressive rocky and hilly landscape, virtually between big rocks. We liked especially the views to the surroundings. My and my wife spent 16 days in Namibia traveling and Mowani was probably number 1 for us. Not very cheap but worth of the money.
