“Lovely and quiet room by the sea”

Very quiet place with a beautiful view and access to the beach! The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We loved waking up with a cup of coffee while facing the sea on our terrace! There are also very convenient lounge chairs and umbrella available for you to borrow to spend time at the beach.

Great location, cosy clean beach just below the hotel, Rooms are spacy, beds are very comfortable. 5 minutes by car to Sfakia with option to take boat to Lutro. Nice restaurants plus breakfast options in Sfakia as breakfast is not included.

The property was perfect in every way! It was located just above the nicest beach which was a small, slightly pebbly, cove but with the clearest water. The host was super friendly and the room was large, contemporary, very clean and with very good A/C. We loved the picnic area in front of the rooms where we had breakfast overlooking the bay.

Beautiful and peaceful location, well furbished and comfortable room. Quite spacious with a balcony overlooking the ocean, big bed with comfortable matress and good quality sheets, big bathroom and shower cabin with some toiletries, good wifi and nespresso coffee-maker which made my day. Oweners frienly and accommodating! Excellent experience, strongly recommended…

Very helpfull owner, a lot of people go to this beach from somewhere, we are on the beach just after opening doors of our apartment. Good wifi, good aircondition, clean and what is the most important, location, south Crete and its connection sea and mountains- amazing. Roads in surranding like the best in high Alps, but what is differ here- empty;)

“Luxury, small hotel adjacent to nice beach and OK taverna”

Beautiful room (no.4) - good size, stylishly decorated, great views, nice little terrace, lovely bathroom. Ilingas Mare is a short drive from Chora Sfakion and has its own beach which is also open to the public. The place is a hotel and does not provide kitchen facilities in the room (other than a good coffee machine) but there is an OK taverna right next door. You can walk the E4 to Glyka Nera and beyond from here.

Beautiful property on a stunning beach. Very clean and comfortable room with an amazing sea view. Owner very very helpful. Fridge in room so can make your own breakfast and snacks. Small taverna next door which we did use once and was ok. We did walk into next town which is where you catch the boat for Lutro it’s about 20mins. We used the car to go to a hilltop village which was outstanding. This is a quiet laid back small hotel. It’s great for a peaceful chilled holiday or like us if you want a perfect 3 days just taking in the beauty of this area. The owner has very comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach which was fantastic the vendor at the bottom of the beach was a bit grumpy. We went June and the beach we had virtually to ourselves pure bliss.

Located 1.5km outside the main Chora Sfakion town, Llingas Mare is in a perfect spot, just yards from Llingas Beach, with direct access. Lovely welcome from the owner, with an icecream and beer! The room was great, spacious with a large balcony, very secure and quiet. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves, what more could you ask for?! There is a taverna next door if you don't want to venture into town and the food is nice/freshly cooked.

This is a small simple hotel at a great rate in an amazing location. This has to be one of the best swimming beaches in Crete with option to explore the cliffs and caves in crystal-clear calm waters on both sides of the cove. The familly running the hotel is so nice and helpful. Thanks to them for their sense of hospitality.
