“The best place to stay in Khiva”
I highly recommend staying in this guesthouse when in Khiva. It’s located in the old town so you’re a 2 minute walk from all the main attractions and great restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and we even got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The breakfast was good and you’re able to choose what time you want it at. The staff, in particular Kamal, were friendly and helpful and Kamal even gave us a lift to the station when we were running late and there was a huge wait for Yandex

Superb location right in the old city. Very nice free breakfast. Owner helped arrange for our day trip to the Khorezm fortresses very quickly. And the resident cat is ADORABLE

Host and staff were very kind and nice. Room was very comfortable & clean, location of the horel is Top.I would love to recoment the hotel as looks local culturebstyle , authentic and the feeling you have received is really anciante and cool.

Very friendly owner. Hotel is located right in the old town. Room is comfortable with everything you need. Great breakfast in the morning. Owner offered me a free late check out, this was very nice.

“A real find! Would highly recommend - so good for all sights and at such a reasonable price! Would definitely stay again”
Location perfect within old town. Owner and family lovely and so helpful. Great breakfasts. Only place I stayed in Uzbekistan where room was tidied every day. Owner helped me organise trip via taxi to Savitsky museum and a taxi with sightseeing to Bukhara for my next stay. He also helped me with a problem I encountered, ringing the shop and sorting it all out for me for next day. And who could forget Musa the wonderful house cat!

Kamal is very kind and helpful! Location is great quiet side street and couple of minutes walk to the busier tourist areas, nice restaurant 2 mins walk and also the cat which was the reason I booked is super cute.

“Superb stay within Ichan Kala”
Kamal & his family were the most gracious of hosts. The hotel was quaint and located right after the gate into Ichan Kala. We could just walk out and enjoy the sights at any time of the day.

“I'm happy with my choice and I'm grateful for such positive experience.”
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel because the owner and the staff care about their guests and are always available. The breakfast was very tasty and the portions were generous. The location is super, just a stone thrown away from the highest minaret. I enjoyed talking to the owner who gave me a lot of information about Khiva and its history.

“Very Good Choice!”
We spent 2 really confortable nights in Khiva Tash Darvoza Hotel. The owner&family help you in whatever you need. He changed our room for a superior one without any extra cost and arranged a taxi to Bujara. Breakfast is very good and the location is perfect to visit the old city. Highly recomend it!

“Great hotel within the walls of Khiva”
Within the walls, the hotel has a premium location. It offers tours, both with and without guide, for a fair price, very efficient and well organized. I had a room upgrade since I was off season. The breakfast was very nice. I'd suggest it!
