The upgraded suite was lovely (thank you 😊), the bed was really comfortable and the A/C was fantastic! The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Rahim. It's right outside Ichan Kala so in a fab location.

The staff, the location of the hotel , spacious, comfortable and clean rooms- everything was excellent We appreciated the extra attention to detail where help was given with luggage,, and we even had fresh roses in our room.

The staff, especially the men at the reception and the ones who took our suitcases for us, was very polite, respectful and helpful. When they saw us with our suitcases they helped us straight away. The hotel gave us a better room (upgrade for free), which was very clean and spacious. The beds were good, the location is great: walking distance to the old city of Khiva. They do everything to make it a comfortable stay and we even could use our room after check-out (to change and shower before a long taxi-ride). We saw some people in the reviews complaining, about the breakfast for example. Those people are very spoiled or just complainers I guess. The breakfast was good for Uzbekistan (it’s just a bit different comparing to other countries but that doesn’t make it bad), there was a lot of choice and they make fresh coffee. We travel a lot and we definitely recommend this hotel! The swimming pool was also open (end of April) and very clean. The hotel has a cosy garden as well. Don’t hesitate to book this!

Super weird hotel - we enjoyed it! The rooms are gigantic! The whole place was huge and empty! Shame that the pool wasn't open (we were ahead of season apparently) even though it was scorching. Comfy beds. Very very close to the South gate of the Old Town.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It is located just outside the southern gate from where you can walk to the old town of Khiva. Rooms are very spacious, we booked a family room and it was 2 rooms connected by a door, so we had plenty of space. Beds are big and confy (bare in mind they are hard), air conditioning works well and if you put it in night time mode, you can leave it on through the night. Bathrooms both with bathtub, no shower, so it is not suitable for elderly. They offer bathropes and decent quality towels. Furniture and decor is the opposite of European standard but it is just a different style. Very nice swimming pool helpful for families with kids. Staff is helpful and they speak English. They offer free bottles of mineral water.

“Comfortable stay, super friendly staff, proximity to the gate to the old town”

We had a fantastic stay in Asia hotel. The proximity to the gate of the old center, just 200m from one of the entry gates, makes its location perfect. The hotel is spacious, rooms are large and clean and have style, beds are comfortable and it’s quiet. The pool area is really nice, the water is clean, no hesitation to go for a swim. Staff is super friendly, allowing access to the room on the early morning after our night flight arrival which was super. And for arranging a transfer to the train station when we left. Very hospitable and friendly staff. I highly recommend staying at the Asia Khiva hotel! This was our first night in Uzbekistan. The only improvement to make would be the breakfast, it’s functional, there is enough choice but not delicious.

The location of the hotel is just perfect, in front of the South Gate. It has a lovely garden and a refreshing pool. The rooms are of reasonable size, with good air conditioning, strong water pressure and comfy beds. Even more importantly, the staff is extremely helpful, they will do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would say one of the best service we saw during our 2-week tour of Uzbekistan. The choice for breakfast was reasonable, even with rye bread.

Located just outside the south gates, two wee shops (one sells beer) less than five minutes walk away. Five minutes or less walk to where it’s all happening? It’s quiet there now. People lovely and don’t bother you. Hotel Asia Khiva. Staff lovely. Pool clean and located amongst gardens. Our room large and clean. Breakfast plentiful. Buffet dinner recommend US $10 pp. Hotel seems to cater for tourist buses. Ordered taxi to airport US $15. I purchased a hand made silk rug from Zafarbek, Toshoulatov Street, Khiva. Lovely honest people. Recommend
