The location of the guest house is excellent, right inside Ichan Kala. They are extremely attentive to cleanliness. The breakfast was satisfying. The owner, Shakir, tries to help out with everything. Thank you!

“Comfortable stay in Khiva Old Town”

Bed was super comfortable and owner and his family were super accommodating. Feels like I’m living with my own family members, even had a chitchat session w the owner for about an hour! Location is good as you’re only a 5-10min walk from the mosques and minarettes of the old town of Khiva. Overall highly recommend and would come again.

Guesthouse Orzu was conveniently located in one of the quieter parts of Khiva so it felt great to disconnect from the crowds while still being within 5/10 minutes walking from nearly everywhere. The hosts were kind and breakfast was generous.

A comfortable, friendly family run place. Perfect location inside the old town, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast and hosts that go above and beyond to look after you. They can also organise tours and taxis for you. I really liked this place and definitely recommend it.

The whole host family was fantastic- very welcoming and looked after us and my older parents well. Location was great - inside of the old city walls and short walk from everywhere. The area was quiet and safe and I certainty would recommend it to anyone.

“EXCELLENT LOCATION & OUTSTANDING HOSTS!”

Orzu Guest House is exceptionally well located inside the walls of Old Khiva. Our character room was very clean ( as was the entire guest house), although our old bones struggled a bit with the harder beds as they have through most of Uzbekistan. We loved the shared terrace, spending our 4 evenings watching the world go by, including walkers on the city walls. Breakfasts were superb with plenty of variety and home made goodies. We couldn't have asked for more friendly and helpful hosts. A big thanks again to Shakir & family for looking after us.

Location was marvelous, based right by the old city wall, in a nice and quiet area. Everything is within walking distance. Lovely balcony and courtyard to relaxe. Clean room and nice homemade breakfast. And most importanty: incredibly hospitable, friendly, and helpful hosts. Orzu and his family are very kind and made my stay special.

The owners took care of you as if you were their personal guests. They served a high end breakfast, and all dishes came with a touch of love. You stayed in class, so missing in today's world. Both Shakir and Daliya were perfect hosts.

Great stay at Orzu guesthouse, very comfortable room and pleasant house to escape the sun. Friendly staff as well who can help you organize trips to the deserts combined with a transfer to Nukus, which i did and recommend. Would be a pleasure to come back there !
