The hotel is very well situated within walking distance of all main sites but also in a quiet street. The family are extrêmement welcoming and do all they can to made your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is généreuse. They offer taxi services at excellent rates (rival Yandex!)and can arrange tours at reasonable rates too..

“Doppi is a genuine experience inside the ancient walled city of Khiva.”

Breakfast was a beautifully presented feast including egg, sliced meat, cheese, salad, fruits, cakes, etc. The location inside Khiva walls was quiet and peaceful as well as being just a few steps from the famous, ancient buildings used for those travelling the Silk Road.

Within old city wall I min walk to one of the minaret Restaurant in front of hotel Very kind staff- family run business. Typical uzbek style floor seating breakfast ( more of a continental menu ) No shoes inside the hotel ( which i really like)

Doppi guest house has a very good location inside Old Khiva Walls in a quiet street, but very close to all tourist attractions. Restaurants and s small shop are nearby. Owners keep property very clean. Breakfast prepared by owners is big and offers a good variety of different foods. Accommodation offers transport from Urgench airport and from/to other locations, which is very convenient, although transport is a bit pricy.

“Good place in Khiva center”

We spent two nights in separate rooms, both of which were clean and equipped with baths. The air conditioning worked well. What I appreciated most was the location: situated inside the fortress and close to the south gate, it provided easy access to all the nearby attractions. There is free parking available right in front of the hotel. If you don’t plan to visit the Aral Sea or other nearby fortresses, one day is more than enough to explore Khiva.

This was a very pleasant stay. The staff is really nice and friendly. The breakfast room has a warm home feel. The room has everything you need. Clean, AC, comfortable beds. There is no fridge in room, but the owners will store things for you if you need. I recommend you to stay in this guesthouse located perfectly in downtown. Excellent quiet location, but really just a 2 minute walk to the vibrant part of the old town. Everything in a reach of the hand: mini shop in neighbour street, a cool restaurant with roof top nearby (try abburgine rolls). And bonus points for normal toilet paper.

The hostel is inside the old city, walkable distance to everywhere. sometimes it's hard to find a toilet, can walk back to the hostel to go. The owner and his mother are sooo nice and caring! The breakfast is amazing! The owner's mother even turned on the TV and gave me an apple to chill while waiting for my hot water to be boiled. Wifi is good and working. Nice and clean bathroom and bed.
