So handy for the train and bus stations - the metro is a 5 minute walk, there’s a big Klass supermarket where you can get all you need. The room had a working fridge!

A small trash can would be great, as I have nowhere to put trash.

I had inadvertently booked a small room which was right at the top of the hotel - it did not have much of a window but in Kharkiv at the moment that’s an advantage. No complaints! The staff are amazing. So friendly and welcoming during this difficult and challenging time, in a city under such frequent attack. Huge respect.

Near Gargarina bus station walking distance. Alina was very kind and helpful in the reception and speaks a bit English language, the other one was helpful as well although she didn't know how to speak English language. Modern stylish layout hotel, and clean. Decent choice for breakfast. Good water pressure. WiFi excellent. Close to Kharkiv Pas aswell. They have a bomb shelter too.

I have been to the Ukraine 169 times in the last 20 years and stayed at 5 star hotels like the Kharkiv Palace. And Costing a lot more than the viva hotel. Which offers exceptional value for money .The staff at this delightful hotel were exceptional receptionist Julia so helpful with booking taxis and directions the hotel has everything you need the Breakfast is Great the WIFI on the rooms is the best I have ever experienced in a hotel the location very good not in the centre but when taxis are only 2 pounds to centre no problem I highly recommend the VIVA HOTEL KHARKIV XAVIER RICHARDS

“Surprisingly great stay, with excellent staff, value for money and I will stay again :)”

Really enjoyed my stay and this place exceeded my expectations. Start with location, its very central in Kharkiv and don't be put off by previous damage in the area or how quiet it is, the location is perfect with parking right out front, easy to find. Stand put for me, the staff, especially friendly lady on reception, so helpful and great character. You need people like that as a business to get more repeat business. Place was comfortable, rooms not huge, but well laid out and decorated, bed was very comfortable and AC worked brilliantly and water pressure in shower superb. Has a small eating area for breakfast and to sit and a restaurant that serves a set menu of mainly local Ukrainian dishes and a buffet breakfast in the morning. Appeared very clean. I must say myself and my two colleagues will stay again for sure. I recommend it as a value for money stay with great staff.

the property was located not far from airport. the breakfast was awesome so much to choose from. the room was excellent friendly staff.

Location is good. Everything is reachable with affordable cab rides. Breakfast was ok. Rooms are a little outdated but it’s not a big deal. Having a bath was nice.

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was nice (but no or less variation), twin room superb/deluxe was very good but we stayed also 3 nights in a suite which was really comfortable, bigger and sure very nice. Although they did some reconstruction or renovating in a room you didn't hear anything. I can recommend it and we will come again.
