“Exceptional hospitality and amazing food 🥘”

The palace, khaplu itself, the people, the food. I don’t have enough words to express what a wonderful weekend I had. I extended my stay for one more night and the staff was so accommodating. Especially Shakir Bhai, such an angel to be around. Recommended us so many places to visit, made sure my birthday arrangements were perfect and made us feel welcome and safe. I will forever remember this and I can’t wait to be back here. Lovely 1000/10 recommended. I’ve been to the shigar fort Serena as well but this one takes the cake. Give your staff a raise, they’re all amazing!

“Historical palace in great setting”

Beautiful historical palace set in stunning gardens and with amazing view. Very helpful staff. Dont miss the balcony for breakfast or dinner (there is a small and big one to choose from). And if you have a chance, watch a polo match - polo ground just outside the property.

The rooms are extremely well appointed for a historic building. The view is beautiful, and everything works. This is more than a hotel, it is an experience in a way of life that no longer exists. Good local Balti food options available as well at the restaurant which I appreciated. Wifi, hot water etc all perfect.

Nice and cozy. Small place but very well maintained Stone walls and furnishings are very aesthetic Khaplu fort itself has some very nice balconies

Superb location. Once visitors leave at 18:00hrs the hotel is much quieter. Being a heritage site it attracts many visitors throughout the day. There are local walks and the staff are very helpful in giving directions or arranging a guide. I set off alone and found what I wanted with ease. The restaurant offered good choice of cuisines and good quality. Breakfast is buffet style. The WiFi was speedy and I could easily access all the content I needed. And keep in touch with loved ones.

The palace is beautiful. Extremely serene and peaceful. Surrounded by the most breathtaking mountains, it's an ideal place to disconnect, relax and unwind. The restoration has been done flawlessly, maintaining the integrity and authenticity of the site. The experience of staying in a fort, surrounded with so much history, is truly unique and incomparable. Our room was spotless, equipped with a comfortable bed and really good WiFi.

The room was brilliant and was based in the Palace part of the hotel. Excellent food and grounds. The restaurant staff in particular went above and beyond. Thankyou.
