“A great place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff”

We had a nice and comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well equipped. Although a bit dated, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful — they arranged the return of our rented motorbike while we were on a tour and also handed our luggage to the taxi driver for us. This saved us a lot of time and made our travel much easier

We had a great stay at The Liveliwoods. The room was clean and nice, and the host was super welcoming and friendly. She cooked breakfast for us every morning — it was always delicious and very filling. The room itself is quite spacious, maybe just a bit too big and slightly empty, which makes it feel less cozy than it could be. With a few more furnishings or small decorative touches, it would feel even more comfortable. But overall, everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay!

The owner was very polite and accommodating. The room was big and clean There are tons of activities that you can book directly from the hotel counter. Property is a 10 minutes walk to the main market where you can find lots of food options, currency exchange and atm.

A very calm and peaceful stay. The staff were so wonderful and kind throughout our stay. They were very accommodating booking tours for us. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with fruit available throughout the day. The room was super spacious, comfortable bed and lots of light. 10 minute walk into the village.

I liked the design the rooms and the very quiet AC. Also the breakfast was delicious

Friendly Family owned place. Nice breakfast/ the staff was very helpfull in arranging activities and transportation for us. Nice clean and modern bungalows. Great choice if any of your family memmbers is not into tree/typical jungle experience but still wants to be reasonable close to Khasok village :)

Close to the bus stop (5 mins walk) and also not too far from town (15 mins) Basic accommodation but clean and tidy. Hosts welcomed us with water and fresh fruit

Nice airy room with comfortable bed, but the resort has no pool, no gym, no facilities, therefore the price is crazy. I have stayed in resorts with pools and better rooms for literally 1/3 of the price. My advice is just turn up at Khao Sok do not book ahead rooms are plentiful and the price will be far better

Apologies if I have mis-spelled, but Pla and her two children were amazing hosts. It genuinely felt like a home stay. They were so nice and accommodating. Pla helped me organise all of my tours and would always be available to help me with any questions or queries I had. She was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to visit Khao Sok, its national parks and other to do's, to stay here!

“Average, disappointing price-wise”

I have mixed feelings about this accomodation. The price was too high for what we got. The room was generally clean but the shower fixture was covered in scale and looked as if it wasn't cleaned for quite a long time. Also, I wasn't satisfied with the breakfast - I'd rather have Thai rice with a curry than a poor quality toast bread. Not tasty instant coffee. The pancakes were better than the scrambled eggs with poor bread, but I prefer savoury breakfasts. If you have a car and want to do the lake trip, drive there on your own as it's over an hour drive away and the trip offered by The Liveliwoods is 1500 THB per person

“BIG WARNING! Owner is compulsive lier.”

I would caution anyone who books tours through here. we booked a private room on the river of the national park 3 months in advanced through the hotel, when we arrived the owner of the hotel said they had closed the river accommodation for some weeks, which felt strange, the only accommodation option in the national park was a hut with a straw roof, no light, no electricity and bathroom was shared with 40 others. We had no other option so we had to take it, however when we took the boat to the national park, our boat happened to take a stop at… surprise surprise the place which was apparently closed, which was actually open and thriving. After dealing directly with the tour guides they managed to talk to the people at the property and get us a room, in the air conditioned, electricity and private bathroom facility we had booked through the hotel months ago. The other facility we did have to stop by at before we sorted this, and it was truly terrible, the “bed” was two floor matts with burn holes in them. But thanks to a helpful tour guide we ended up having one of the best experiences of our holiday at the nice location. When arriving back at the hotel the following day we asked her kindly what had happened, instead of giving some truth she straight away started lying again. She said we had caused such a fuss they cancelled someone else’s booking to get us there. Mind you the tour guide got us a room in a 20 second phone call. And she literally had no answer to why she told us it was “closed for weeks”. My honest guess is she forgot to book our room and it must of been sold out by the time we arrived at the hotel, instead of calling around and getting us on stand by for a room (which ended up working no thanks to her) she went on a string of endless lies she never was able to get out of, and even started getting mad at us for asking questions at the end.
