“remote jungle paradise”

We loved the family bungalow for our family of five, the friendly staff, and the location right in the jungle. We were very happy to stay here rather than in the village (about 30 minutes away). Our kids were constantly entertained watching animals, playing on the jungle playground, and enjoying the games in the restaurant. We didn’t turn on the TV once, but there is one. As well as air conditioning and laundry service, which we both very much appreciated.

“A little paradise in the jungle”

Very friendly staff. Very good dinner and a wide choice of beverages. The resort is not to far from the Khao Sok Lake. The resort is in the middle of the jungle with a huge variety of tropical plants and trees and full with the noise of crickets and gekko ; there is a nice view over the hills. Furthermore, we were the only customers so we could make as much noise as we want, though it is not our habbit.

Lovely bungalows with plenty of room and comfortable beds. It's midway between the national park walks and the lake, both about 30 minutes drive. The staff were very helpful.

Great location overlooking the river, tranquil, quiet and very beautiful. Felt very close to the rainforest, with birds around and the jungle surrounding. The resort blends well with the surrounding forests. Great staff, very courteous and a good selection of food, games and books.good location to visit Khao sok and the lake

This hotel was exactly as you would expect. Cheap, comfortable and convenient. The restaurant's food was DELICIOUS, so cheap and really fast service. I met the owner when I was about to leave, he was super friendly, welcoming and caring of my stay! Very peaceful place. Definitely would recommend.

“WE WE DO NOT RECOMMEND”

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND, English administrators with a habit of swindling and stealing tourists in remote areas. We discovered and read about Khao Sok and said we should visit it for 2 nights, we looked for accommodation with good reviews so we wouldn't have any emotions, we found this accommodation Khao Sok Home River with a price of 227 euros for 2 nights with breakfast included, but for payment by card a 3% extra is applied. When we arrived at the hotel with difficulty because it is a 400 ml access by dirt road (we had a hard time convincing the taxi to take us, the location according to Google Maps being on the street), we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who spoke to us nicely and helped us with our luggage to the room. The modest room was bad, bed without a mattress, you practically sleep on some wood, no wardrobe, hanger, nothing max 9 sqm without a bathroom (I think the architect was from central London) and a strong smell of pee in the bathroom; but I said come on we are in the jungle, I don't blame the locals, they don't wash themselves much anyway, but I would have had complaints from the administrators especially since the prices were London and the accommodation was jungle. My wife and I's biggest problem was with the excursion that the host proposed to us, 2000 baht per person all day or 3500 per person private excursion 3 hours at sunset. I said let's take a private excursion 3 hours, let's not follow everyone else.

The location was beautiful. A quiet spot, perfect to visit Khao Sok National Park and Cheang Lan Lake. The cottages were nice, spacious, and clean. The staff was super friendly. The owner was also very friendly and helpful.

Cozy and really quiet place, ideal for reconnecting with nature. During the night and in the morning the animal sounds are stunning. Also a good starting point towars Chew Lan Lake (you can book the full day trip through the accomodation, recommended). Very nice staff, and also good local food

Lovely resort, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great location for Khao Sok National Park. The area is generelly quite pricey - in comparison to that, the prices here are fair.

“Stunning surroundings and wonderful staff make for an unforgettable stay in the Thai jungle”

We booked this with less than an hour before checking in due to leaving our original accommodation in Khao Sok which was terrible and the staff could not have been more attentive! From the moment we arrived we were met with friendly smiles and taken to our room. It had a fabulous view of the jungle and river and was very quiet except for the noise of animals which we loved! The food was incredible and freshly made, both breakfast and dinner. They arranged onward travel to our next destination and one lovely lady member of staff took us in her own car to be picked up at the main road. Loved our short and spontaneous stay, would definitely visit again. Good value for money
