Loved it here. Very quiet and homely, fantastic food and very kind host Wandee, who took us on a mini tour to the turtle sanctuary and a waterfall

“Decent no-frills room but didn't enjoy the patio area”

If you want to be not far from Nang Thong beach and the bars and restaurants at that end of Khao Lak, without all the noise, then this is a decent budget option as it's on a side road on the mountain side of the main street and is quite quiet. The room was big, so was the bed, and the little fridge was quiet (important for a light sleeper like me). Basic facilities - a kettle, coffee mug and a glass on the bedside table. You get the standard two small bottles of water every day. The aircon worked well (you really need it at this time of year) and was easily adjustable. If you're into cooking, the restaurant/school next door run by the Les Fleurs owner is apparently excellent. They also do a craft beer camp but I know nothing about it. There are two good coffee places nearby (Mali and Waankarn) plus two 7-11s at the bottom of the road and a few supermarkets.

She’s really lovely and very welcoming. All the staff was really friendly and made us enjoy our stay. Location is good, not too far from the seaside and a few steps from the main road. The room was clean and the appliances working. Highly recommend it :)

Great place to stay. Lovely restaurant and outdoor area. Central to everything. Rooms clean and cute. Do the cooking school if you have the chance. Amazing how quick and easy Thai cooking can be.

I'm not someone for leaving bad reviews, and I see that people before me already said most that needed to be said. My only advice for Wanlee is to spend a bit more effort on her gueshouse. It is clear that the cooking school gets preference, and that is great for her, as it is doing so well. But maybe use some of that income there to get a manager that can look after the accommodation side for her. There is never anyone at reception and the place realy needs a springclean.

Very nice staff and very clean. The location is good, not far from the beach but away from the noisy streets. Very friendly and confortable. The room was big and the services effective (laundry, breakfast).

I stayed for three weeks, its a good location and great to be close to everything but still off the main road. The owner put in a small fridge in my room which was great. The staff is sweet, friendly and very helpful. A nice touch is that you get two free bottles of water every day. The room I had was spacious. AC worked great which was a blessing indeed!

Perfect location, super nice staff

Very nice hotel, close to the main road and attractions but in very quiet neighbourhood. Wandee, the owner and chef, is very friendly. You can take Thai cooking class with her as well. I definitely recommend it!

“Convenient!”

For what you pay for, this stay definitely had good value for money! It was close to a beach and very convenient to the bus/van stops in Khao Lak (for the backpackers travelling). Rooms were clean and it is nice for those looking for a budget accomodation with a private bedroom and bathroom. Overall I am glad to have booked it!

The room was big and it was very quiet. I stayed there for a couple of weeks and for me it was the right place to feel at home. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
