Small, cozy and quiet place with a short distance to the city. However, a little further to the beach, (which is not very child-friendly.) It felt wonderfully homely with flowers, fruit trees and plants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was much better than we expected from a 1 star hotel. The breakfast was also really good with eggs, bread, fruit, juice and sweets.

Jam, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The room itself was spacious, with thoughtful and practical touches such as a desk, chairs, towel hooks, decent size wardrobe, fridge etc. Nice to have a little outside patio and the overall outside garden is pretty. Breakfast was really good, with nice variety, including good quality bread, sweet sticky rice, fresh fruit, granola, eggs etc. Location is on a quiet street but pretty close to the main area. Really good value for money too. Couldn't recommend this place more.

The room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast is wonderful and the owner is so lovely and helpful! She arranged taxis for us when there were no grabs or bolts. 5 minute walk to town too, perfect!

“Excellent value, comfortable stay”

A beautiful little oasis. We loved how quiet it was yet only a short walk from the restaurants and beach. Lots to do in the area. We had a wonderful week and felt very well looked after. Breakfasts were wonderful.

“Hidden gem in the best part of Khaolak”

The accommodation has everything you need, and the host is able to help with anything else day to day, like transport, booking things or local information. It is cosy, clean and serviced daily. The location is excellent, in the best part of Khaolak. The breakfast was delicious and filling and the entree was a different local dish each day which was a great way to start every morning. It is by far the nicest place my wife and I have ever stayed, and we can't wait to visit again in our future.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The owner ‘Jam’ provides an exceptional service in every respect. The breakfast is first class with fresh fruits and local produce. The rooms are cleaned daily and the fridge restocked with water and Coke. The location is quiet but only a short walk to town and the market and a little further to the beach. I like everything so much that I extended my stay 😊

“3 Nights of Bliss!”

Everything was just great. Jam (lady owner) was extremely helpful and friendly. She gave me a lift (there and back) to a local diving centre that I wanted to visit. Her friend from Sweden who sometimes assists Jam with breakfasts and change overs / cleaning spoke excellent English and was also very friendly and helpful. Jams home made breakfasts were amazing. She made a different Thai breakfast accompliment each day. I had steamed dumplings and something unusual but very nice wrapped in banana leaves. The bungalows were immaculately clean and comfortable. Air Con worked well, hot shower and plenty of storage space. Massive comfortable bed too. What was provided for the price paid was excellent value.

How can a hotel that doesn’t even have a swimming pool get 10 of 10 stars? I would even give an extra star to Jam, who is the owner of the place. She is making your breakfast, helping you with whatever you need of information etc. I just mentioned the word diving and 10 minutes later staff from one of the local dive shops came with dive gear I could try (wetsuit size, finns etc) and provided information about the different dive sites, prices etc.

“Amazing stay in Khao Lak”

The place is as everyone else described it! Very nice and with home feeling. Jem is so nice! She tries to help you with everything you need. The breakfast was the best that we had in Thailand: all home made. The bungalow is super nice and it was very clean. Wifi was working very well. I wish we could have stayed longer. Jem: we didn’t manage to say goodbye! A big thank you for everything from me and my son!
